The food in the classic breakfast is always tasty. Their hostess are always very friendly and complementary. The establishment is small but that's expected for a neighborhood restaurant. The ambience is very chill. Takeout is pretty good and prompt. I call in my food is usually ready within 15 minutes.

The service is A+ the food is even better. The hubs had the hanger steak and eggs with the most delicious potatoes ever. I had the chicken and waffles and they were out of this world yummy. The grands had grits, French toast and pancake balls. They licked the bowl on all. The grits were the best we have had out!!!! Bloody Mary and mimosa were also on point! Highly highly recommend We will be back!

Toast, located in New Orleans, Louisiana, is a delightful restaurant that I highly recommend. Their omelettes and coffee are exceptional, and I can't praise them enough. If you're in the area, be sure to visit Toast for a delicious breakfast experience!" "The attentive and friendly waitstaff at Toast made my visit even more enjoyable. Their excellent service added to the overall positive experience."

This place is fantastic. It was good, but it opened and I think it had a few rough patches a year or more ago but it's back to being super good.

Very good service every time. Everything is delicious and s described on their menu. You know exactly what you're getting, but somehow the exceed my expectations every time - with service, presentation and flavor.

Wife and I had the chicken and waffles. It wasn't the best I've had but it was ok. The cayenne butter was different. Service wasn't great and attitudes could use some help in this place.

Delicious and hot food. The fact that the food was hot already set the tone for a better dining experience where many restaurants have become complacent with serving room temp quality food. The grits were the best! Service was good Ambiance is quaint.

We shared a Bacon Mushroom and cheese crepe with a side of toast and a side egg. So fresh and so good. Hidden in a cute neighborhood. Parking was a bit challenging, but the food was worth the extra effort. Great service too!

Phenomenal! Staff and atmosphere alone make this restaurant great, but add in the food and it's nothing short of unreal!! 10/10 recommend!

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had! We had the prosciutto ricotta toast, the Gruyère crepe and lyonnaise potatoes and everything was amazing. Small place and was filling up quickly after its 8am opening. Great service and a great place

Staff was amazing, vibes were great and the food was delicious! I had the steak and eggs and it was delicious just wish there was more steak if there was anything I had to "complain" about but I loved it here regardless

We visited NOLA at the beginning of the Mardi Gras season this year. We struck out on food badly, to include a couple of TikTok famous places. THEN, we found Toast on Gentilly Blvd. EVERYTHING was delicious. The host was friendly & accommodating of our party of 6 and our server was fantastic. She knew her staff! We arrived around 9:15 am on a Sunday morning. The wait was less than 20 minutes. We were seated inside. Toast gives the comfort feel of a southern grandma's kitchen. And...they backed it up with their delicious food. I had the classic breakfast. The grits were creamy, eggs were cooked perfectly , the bacon was crisp and the biscuits were buttery(SO GOOD)! I didn't need to add any salt/pepper...nothing. Toast delivered!! Oh..they do NOT skimp on their food, portions are plentiful and are share worthy. This was hands down the best food we had the entire trip! I recommend Toast and would absolutely visit here again. Parking: Try not to park right out front...cars are subject to being sideswiped. Unfortunately we saw it happen while dining. Toast's staff says it's a frequent occurrence. Park on the side.
