How does this place have only seven reviews? It's a travesty! This is one of the best places I've eaten in 2019, in all my travels across the world. It may well be the best place I'll have eaten in the coming decade. Here's something I never thought I'd type: this gluten-free restaurant is an unmissable delight. Appetizers such as the guacamole and etole were phenomenally well balanced, beautifully presented, and gone within minutes of hitting the table. The entrees were varied, hearty, healthful, and more-ish, even when we were all well beyond sensible limits of ingestion! And they didn't stop us enjoying the buenuelos, which is one of the most delicious desserts you can imagine, as if a beignet and a churro got married and had a saintly son that liked to swim in syrup. Catalino's is a tremendous restaurant. It's an absolute triumph. Service was friendly, helpful, and attentive, too! The chef should be lauded around town, raised upon the citizen's shoulders, and given the freedom to cook whatever they want, wherever they want, whenever they want. The world will be a better place for it.

Fantastic restaurant. The food was fabulous! Loved the fake stained glass quetzal! I just wish I could have spoken Spanish. Bilingual waitstaff would be great!

I've been to Catalino's three times so far and enjoyed. For my last visit I had the Carnitas - VERY goodies were the black beans. The Pico also very tasty & fresh. I'm looking forward to a Taco Tuesday soon.
