Staff was horrible. Acted as if they were forced to be there. Asked for a cinnamon roll while pointing to it. Responded by saying thats a raisin swirl. Ok well it has cinnamon and raisons but ok. Then got my order wrong so then proceeded to jam a paris brest into a small box with his bare hands and putting his fingers in all the cream, ugh! Really rude!!!

Atmosphere: Nice new building with lots of natural light but the layout makes it awkward for the few seated tables because the long line goes between them with little space. Bathrooms were clean and modern. Not sure why they tacked on tacky plastic flowers on the molding?
Food: 11:30 AM on a Sunday morning and you’re out of so many ingredients that you can’t make 2 of the only 4 sandwiches you offer? Sandwich was good, and toasted well. Not worth $16. 4/5.
Pastries: ordered one apricot pastry and one apple cinnamon. Apricot one was good, 4/5, and apple one was great, 4/5.
Coffee: $5 base iced latte. They up-charge you ridiculously for everything without giving you a heads up. Asked for caramel sauce or syrup and I said both, and they added $2 on, without giving a heads up that they’re $1 extra each. Not great coffee either. Basic automated machine taste, and they bring nothing to your table, so if you sit outside, you have to run back in every 10 min to check to see if it’s ready. 2/5
Service: superrrr unfriendly staff, seem annoyed throughout the entire order, not a smile in sight. Don’t look for southern hospitality here 😂The male serving pastries and taking sandwich orders was super impatient with the guests in front of us as well, who asked very simple questions so they could make a decision. Paper plates and plastic cups, so you’re forced to bus your own table too. 1/5
Value overall: 2/5 overpriced coffee and sandwiches for the area, taste, and service. Would not return, especially after the bad taste in my mouth from the rude employee attitude. $45 for one sandwich, two coffee, and two pastries. Not worth it.

For a French Bakery. Why are they serving everything in paper plates and paper cups. They are probably only one that does that in town. That's not very French like.
Pastries are decent, nothing stand out about it. My almond croissant is flat, as you can see in the picture, it taste good, but it is not French. Maybe I came in into a bad day, but nothing here deserve 5 star ratings.

I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because they don’t clean the tables, serve coffee and food in paper cups and plates, and you have to clean up after yourself — yet they still ask for tips, of course.
That said, my cappuccino was good, and our pastries and the éclair were delicious — fresh, just sweet enough, but not overly sweet.

Probably, the high rating it has, are due to it being the only game the kind in this area.
While the service is excellent, the pastries and the coffee are very far from perfect.
The coffee is made with a push button machine and tastes so. But it is strong and you can order 4 shots cap if you need a real
Blast.
The croissant is heavy and does not taste fresh.
The raspberry tart is ok.
I might have given it 4 - but it already has too high raking :)

The pastries are tasty, more selection and the drinks taste alright, however the server/ barista need to be more friendly to the customer, there is a young man with dreads has more issues with me and my friends a few times, please notice we’re living in the neighborhood and support your business, and it’s mean that helps you out as well, we’re paying for food, atmosphere and also service, not really expecting the smarty attitude to the seniors/ elder , please beware of that.

Baked goods, pastries and sandwiches were delicious!
The wait staff need a lesson in smiling; better customer service would be appreciated.

The coffee is good but the service is not. We stopped in today and they told us they didn't have any milk but whole milk. There is a grocery store across the street and they are a coffee shop. How is that even possible to be out of milk. Instead of being accommodating or apologizing they acted like they were too good to serve customers properly and to go get some milk which is a main component of their business. We will be going to pj's or crepe rendez-vous from now on.

Such a great addition to Lakeview. Love the authentic French pastries, hot coffee, and atmosphere. The quiche is my favorite.

Literally the prettiest and most delicious pastries in New Orleans! Quaint and cozy with friendly, competent staff. My only complaint is they they are closed on Tuesdays and I never remember!!
