We came here for happy hour (4-6) for half off all bottles of wine and half off the mussels and fries! Both were excellent and great portions! Our server Sara was super nice and helpful, she gave us a lot of recs and talked through all of the wines with us. We sat outside on the front patio and it was just so lovely, busy but not too packed. Overall def recommend and will come back!

If you do not mind eating by the trash in a makeshift room that resembles a fraternity house then eat here. We were told the outside and the main dining room were booked, howeve, resy and the reality were quite differen. When I asked our server if we could potentially switch to another room she replied probably not because'being seated here is a last resor. I do not think there should be a last resort seating area at a restaurant. The food and prices were fine and I would have returned it recommended this place had it not been for the unfortunate seating. I felt as though our meal should have been disco at best since we were eating in a shanty with a flatscreen television playing a bizarre jellyfish montage I guess to match the vibe agin of a fraternity house rec room complete with Mexican blankets even though this place is trying to be a French Bistro and it looks like one in the other two seating areas. if you are alr with these accommodations definitely eat here.

I love this place. It has an ample and delicious selection of wine and spirits. The food is also good and the ambiance is nice. I go there with my girlfriends and on dates with my husband. Meaning it can be a romantic place for a night out or a cool place to hang out with friends.

I came here for happy hour and it was a fantastic experience! Their drinks are tasty and creative and their little munchies hit the spot (cheese & French fries). I will have to come back!

Great Food, Friendly Service, Good selection of wines + Happy Hour!!! The food is eclectic and combines ingredients in a way that creates tastiness. Fries in Goose fat, Salmon devilled eggs, juicy Sliders.

Was looking for a place to go with the family and read the reviews... two $$ and 4.1 rating... How could we go wrong? Anyway, while it is said that it's tough to find a bad meal in New Orleans, this time I was shocked at just how good the meal was. Between the four of us we had two of the fish and chips with the goose fat french fries, the pork noodles and the Bronzino. It was all terrific. The Bronzino, in particular was absolutely beautifully prepared, with lemons and rosemary and thyme in the belly, oven roasted sitting on roasted kale, and surrounded by roasted grape tomatoes and olives. The only nit is that it was a touch on the salty side, but otherwise was pitch perfect. Wine list is good and not overpriced ... We had the Txakolina, which was perfect with the Bronzino. Service was on the mark and pleasant. Plenty of beer on tap. No rush. Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend this neighborhood jam.

Sometimes, the best meals have no photos at all. Such is the case with my visit here last night. My friend and I sat at one of the lovely outdoor tables for hours. It was perfect! We had 2 cheeses, the glorious French fries, and the steak appetizer. Everything was delicious. We had the most lovely server, and I regret not catching her name. She helped us choose a fabulous red wine and was so cheerful and funny. She also allowed us to stay until the place completely closed down. It had been a while since I had been here - I won't wait so long before coming back again. Highly recommended!

The restaurant itself has a great vibe and our sever was very friendly. Unfortunately there were a large number of items on the already small menu that were no longer available (7pm dinner on a Saturday). It took foreeeeeeveer for our food to come out and we all agreed that our main dishes were just okay and nothing we’d order again. We also had another group of friends coincidentally there for dinner at the same time and they had similar feedback afterwards. I could see it being a fun place for a happy hour to enjoy the patio and fries but wouldn’t come back for dinner.

The charming, less expensive cousin of the well known, romantic St Charles twinkly lit wine bar. I've only been in the summer when it's fairly empty but I imagine it fills up quickly when the college students return, especially with the 3-6PM happy hour of $5 wines. The pomme frites are delicious, and they are very generous with the aioli. Of course, there is an impressive wine and cocktail list. Definitely an uptown gem.

Great vibe of this place. Perfect for a date night. They had one of my fave wines-gruner. I've been searching for mussels that I liked in New Orleans and finally found a place! I would come back for the mussels and wine. The mussels were the perfect spice level! It is a thicker tomato sauce where I usually like more brothy but it was sooo good still! I wish there were more!Steak board was just ok!! Fries were pretty yummy. Service was great! I would sit at a regular table next time bc the bar top was kinda small. Will def be back.

The food and wine are always good. The reason I knocked a star down was that it was surprisingly warm inside. It could have been that the AC wasn’t working properly but it made the experience as a whole a bit uncomfortable.

I went to this place with a big group on a Sunday night. It was empty to be expected.I thought the drinks were great, my mojito was one of the best I've had in the city. However, I thought the food was very average. The menu is not too big so I was able to try a bit of everything and to be honest each dish was a bit disappointing.I ordered the pasta with pork in white sauce. The pasta was rich and flavorful however the pork was dry and bland. The shrimp risotto was again okay, the shrimp were not cooked particularly well, a bit chewy if you ask me. The mussels were well cooked and seasoned but definitely not spectacular.I do appreciate the prices, much fairer than similar restaurants in this area, however, after living in New Orleans for a few years I can safely say that there are many better choices for an upscale dinner even if you're forced to spend a few more dollars. I will however be back for the drinks, particularly for happy hour from 3-5 on Wednesday-Sunday.

Nice for outdoor seating, cocktails, and fries. Never had a very long wait but also never been after like 6pm

Cutest building and patio when it's nice out. Shared the whole fish with my family plus some sides and a bottle of wine and it was 10/10. Great New Orleans experience.
