Fiancé and I had to try Chateau Cafe as our regular spot was closed. We were sorely disappointed with the quality of food and pricing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating considering the requests. The food was a grave disappointment as it had no flavor much like la madaline cafe. We will not be giving Chateau Cafe another visit or patronage.

Today I visited Chateau Cafe located at 139 Allen Toussaint Blvd in New Orleans, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The service was fast and excellent, with the staff being incredibly friendly and attentive. My cafe latte was perfect, just the right blend of “rich” and smooth flavors.
The cafe itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights of my visit was the extensive menu. There is a lot to choose from, whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a light lunch, or just a quick snack. From omelets and pancakes to sandwiches and salads, there is something for everyone.
Overall, Chateau Cafe is a fantastic spot for a meal or a coffee break. I highly recommend it for its great service, delicious coffee, and diverse menu options.

During a recent family outing, we decided to stop by this charming café for a delightful cup of coffee and some snacks. Situated in a lovely location, the café boasted a serene ambiance, and the staff welcomed us with warmth and courtesy. They were incredibly helpful in guiding us through our snack choices, which we thoroughly enjoyed alongside our flavorful and aromatic coffee. However, there was a minor hiccup that caught me by surprise. As a right-handed individual, I only noticed halfway through my coffee that the cup was chipped quite noticeably, causing the coffee to slowly leak out. It was a comical moment when I finally realized it after switching hands. While this small incident brought about a moment of laughter, I couldn't help but think it might be worth a gentle reminder for the café owners to inspect their tableware. Everything else about our experience was wonderful, and I look forward to returning soon.Despite what happened, I still give a 5* and would not hesitate to go back to this restaurant.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm really trying to figure out what previous customers have been raving about. The so called Belgian waffle puts you in the mind of frozen ego's. The waffle was tasteless and bland. Tbacon was burnt to a crisp. The customer service was subpar with a pompous arrogant guy at the register. He actually got upset with me because he didn't hear all of my order, because he was too busy having a personal conversation with another employee - had nothing to do with business. First & last of visits- this was such a deviant of most places I've visited in New Orleans area.

Great place to grab a bite and coffee. Food was fresh and looked great just not a lot of seasoning added to dishes. Had a turkey, avocado breakfast sandwich before and it was good just not seasoned but fluffed well when I added salt and pepper. Staff isn't overly nice but the are polite. Frozen coffee is always good. Can't go wrong.

Weak brewed coffee. Awful annoying music. Dry croissant. $8. 1 coffee 1 croissant. Walk over to PJs .
We had breakfast here this morning. Everything was delicious. Omelet, French toast, bacon, and coffee. I got a jitter to go and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend.
I've been a customer of Chateau Cafe for at least 20 years. I love the Shiver and stop in every time I'm in the area. It would be awesome to have a location on the Northshore!
Delicious breakfast options. The grits are creamy and perfect.
