Extremely disappointed in our experience today. Chicken and sides use to be our go-to. The chicken has always been good, but the wait time has always been long. You're told your order will be ready in 15 minutes, but you end up waiting at least 30.
We ordered tonight, excited that they are back open with new management after being closed for a couple weeks. My fiance got there and ordered at 6:20 (two people in front of him). He placed his order and proceed to wait 40 minutes. By this time, only one person in front of him got their food. The other person demanded a refund for the wait. We did not receive our food until 7:05. On top of that, we did not receive a biscuit with one of our meals and did not receive our French fries for the other. He waited 45 minutes and two of our items were missing.
We will sadly probably not be back due to this experience.

I happened on your site thru doordash & decided to take a chance.The food was prepared & delivered in a timely manner. The 4pc chicken seasoned well,red beans(good flavor), but those honey buttered biscuits 💯!
*I hope you can incorporate baked or grill chicken options eventually!

i like to support local businesses but the chicken was cold and salty the fries was cold and hard the young girl couldn't tell the difference between a breast and thigh spent $20 on cold and old food probably leftovers from lunch hope y'all get it right

On 4-29-25 I order 2 piece combo with drink the coke was out lemond was out so I didn't get a drink. The chicken had no flavor not spicy the collard greens no taste dirty rice had no flavor no seasoning to the ground meat very disappointed not better than Popeyes or churches some one said in a comment they left. Stop the cap. I'll stay with Popeyes

I ordered fried chicken with collard greens. Everything taste good. I also ordered a fried apple pie & it was good. I will visit again.

These folks claim they make chicken to order, but I went in and came out faster than I came in only thing fresh I had was the fries chicken tasted like it was fried 30 minutes before or could have been sitting for a while and one thing I don’t play about is my chicken not being fresh now I been to this place a couple of times in the past and never had an issue until now all I simply ask is to do better

The biscuit and fries were awesome—crispy, fluffy, and paired perfectly with honey for a unique twist. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich as well. Every bite was better than the last! This is comfort food done right, and I can’t wait to come back for more. Highly recommend!
