The best that I've found in the area by far. Food does vary by night in taste, but always good. Their Taco Tuesdays are worth any wait they may have (usually not more than a few minutes if any). I highly recommend their Nopales (cactus). Vegetarian friendly that can please the whole family/party. Fair prices that are much more affordable compared to other local restaurants in the Carrollton area. The staff is a small team, but always get our orders correct and double check. Love Chilangos!

I have given this place at least 3 chances. Today was the last time I will ever eat there. The cheese in my chili relleno was just a hard blob - not melted at all. The relleno itself was soggy. The enchiladas were cold. We also ordered the cheese dip which had zero flavor and came in a 3oz plastic cup for $3.50. There are better restaurants in the area that serve the same food. The service is poor and the food quality is worse. Complete garbag

We initially headed out to another restaurant but after waiting 20 minutes with no contact from waitress, we left and went to Chilango's instead. Lovely little place and very clean. Our waitress was darling. Husband had camarones de la diabla, and I had taco salad with grilled chicken. My salad sounds boring, right? Not so! Both meals were very tasty - we loved what we chose. My margarita was delish. I felt the value of our meal was great. Will definitely be going back as it is close to our house.

Barely worthy of mention. Very mediocre. Raw onions on tiny street-truck-sized tacos lack any attempt at inspiration. The ingredients are just meh. The electronic door chime at the front door is so loud it could cause hearing damage.

It was a nice sunny Sunday evening and my friend and I had a taste for Chilango's. I already know what you are thinking...it's Sunday! Well guess what, it's a restaurant. If you just want to cook with salt and other seasonings then just open on Tuesday...yet I digress. We ordered margaritas, chicken nachos, tacos and Carne Asada. I was delightfully satisfied until my entree came out: Carne Asada. The meat was tough, the bell pepper was not cooked through and there was too much sauce. I sent it back but it was no better. I tried adding salt, and other seasonings on the table... did not work. Guess you have to be at least two margaritas in for the entrees to taste right. Next time I will go to the one out in Kenner. Now the first time I went there my socks were knocked off by the flavor and spice.

Chilango's isn't cheap, but the food is up to par if not beyond that. The drinks were good, could've been a bit stronger, but the chimichanga was fantastic. It's good as both a dine-in and take-out experience, and I'd definitely recommend this spot for grabbing a casual meal and drinks with friends. It's not astronomically expensive, but be prepared to spend some money if you're gonna have drinks with your meal. All things considered it was a good spot in a nice location. Solid 3.5 so I rounded up to 4

So I wondered in with my buddy and right away could tell we were going to enjoy ourselves. They handed us a taco order form and it was off to the races. My friend got 3 tacos I got 4. All of them surpassed my expectations...Best part is that is was taco tuesday. Our bill for 7 tacos and a beer was 18 bucks. Highly recommend for sure

Super rude to my group I came in with. When my friend gave the waitress his ID she said it was fake even though he was 23 and then threatened to call the cops, when we told her to call the cops because the ID was real she stormed into the back with it and then stormed out again and slammed it on the table we were at and walked away saying nothing. She never came back and refused to bring us our food/ drinks. Later another server came out with our food but we never got any of our appetizers (chips, salsa)

Food was actually decent, but the service was just abysmal. My table had to flag down a server every time we needed something as nobody would come to check on us or ask us how we were doing. After 15 minutes of sitting there not a single waiter had spoken to us. We had to ask for water multiple times and did not receive it until our food had already come out. When the tacos came, two of the orders were wrong and they did not care or try to fix it, instead insisting that it was the right order for our table.

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT. I came at 2pm and left at 3:15 despite it being an empty restaurant. I got served cold rice and beans. We had no confidence in the waitress so I had to walk to the bar to pay for my food. She was busy folding napkins instead getting drinks or chips or anything else. Reminder i was at an empty restaurant for 75 minutes and chips and water are things that might take 15 seconds if u cared enough I ordered a fajita mix that was 75% onions and peppers, barely any meat. For $22. I had pleasure of ordering pico and not being told its an upcharge despite it not being on the menu ans salsa is free. This restaurant is a scam, and your better off walking to panchitas, taco loco, or honestly doing postamtes taco bell. Never going back
