Weird service from main waiter. It was our first time eating at Chophouse. My brother wanted steak and my friends recommended this place. When I asked the waiter what he recommended, he was pretty dry about the suggestions. Did not even bother to have a conversation. Honestly he barely came to the table. What made the evening weird was when he brought us the cheesecake. It was a plain cheesecake on a plate. It looked naked. It felt off because New York cheesecake usually comes with strawberries. As I scrolled through instagram, the cheesecake at chophouse did indeed come with strawberries and strawberry sauce. When the waiter came to give us the bill, I asked him about the strawberries. He looked a little shocked and said yeah it usually comes on the side you can have it with or without, but I was making sure your daughter gets her ice cream... I did not confront the waiter. He made it sound like he substituted the strawberries for the ice cream, but I paid for the ice cream. Was that laziness? Maybe Except for this, everything else went well. Food was delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and bought to us on a hot plate. You can tell they use high quality ingredients. The runners and bussers did amazing job. Our table was often cleaned and set before the next meal.
The place is basically ok it was a bit of a wait. The hostess was busy sending text message which me in is inappropriate. She offered me a high table in the bar but it was next to the piano and was very noisy. She than offered a table on their ‘terrace' which was in the alley so I said I do not in the alley.
This place is a must! Steak, service and drinks were fantastic! Baked shrimp, ny strip and asparagus! Awesome food and the place is super cute!
Entertained a group of 17 clients everything about the evening was spectacular! Food, service, timing, experience....
Not a good experience. I ordered a ribeye and a loaded potato, along with potato cakes, but the sides arrived about 10 minutes after the steak. I like to enjoy them together, so by the time everything was finally at the table, my steak was dry and cold. On top of that, the potato was undercooked and hard, and the steak was overcooked—I ordered medium rare, but it was closer to well done. Despite it being our anniversary, we weren't even offered a dessert, which most steakhouses I've been to do as a nice touch. The service was disappointing overall. Our server didn't check on us at all and brought everything late. I paid for the meal, but honestly, I shouldn't have had to for the quality of food and service we received. I would really appreciate if someone could reach out to me regarding this.
The manager Mark & our server were great! Definitely returning when I'm in town.
Chopped steak AND fried lobster. Try finding both of those at another fancy restaurant.
Beautiful ambiance and atmosphere with rustic feel.
The food was great! We paid 350$ for an amazing dinner but were quickly rushed out. Our wine was poured into a plastic cup for us to leave as soon as our bill was paid. A few minutes later another worker came back to our table and asked if we needed and Uber. Our entire food service from start to finish was just barely over and an hour. We wanted a nice dinner and this end experience was completely rude and poor customer service.

Attentive, old-school service. The house martini was one of the best I've had. Had the thick cut New York with Cajun butter. Super delicious. For sides, tangy Caesar salad, loaded baked potato, perfectly cooked asparagus, & mushrooms. This place is worth the money.

One of the best steaks you will ever eat in town ! A must try restaurant for real. We have also tried the seafood as appetizers and they were great.

New Orleans is filled with GREAT Steakhouses. Add Chophouse New Orleans to that list. The atmosphere was upbeat and lively. From the wait staff to the house piano player who personally sings happy birthday to those celebrating their special day.

Visiting from Houston and made a reservation 2 days in advance for 7:15 and I have been waiting to be seated for the past hour and currently still waiting without a complimentary drink or anything. It’s the worst especially when they came highly recommended.
