Chophouse New Orleans did not disappoint. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and despite a lively dining room, conversations from nearby tables never intruded on our own. The food was absolutely delicious. The Caesar salad was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of dressing, croutons, and cheese. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and truly melt-in-your-mouth good. The redfish topped with crab and almonds delivered a wonderfully savory combination that delighted every sense. And the cheesecake, brought out for the birthday celebration, was the perfect finale—rich, creamy, and beautifully presented. It was an exceptional dining experience from start to finish.

It was a nice adult atmosphere, dinner was outstanding server could have been more enjoyable. Overall I would definitely recommend to a friend for a nice dinner with spouse.

We were there celebrating our 18th anniversary and everything was perfect as usual. Our server Brianna and all the supporting staff was excellent; including the employee who said he was helping out in the kitchen but wanted to give us a status update on our food. The care and attention to detail is why Chophouse is our favorite place to celebrate.

We had a very poor experience. We showed up at 7:20 for a 7:30 reservations and were asked to go to the bar (totally fine). Turns out our table wasn't ready until 8:00 and there's literally no where to sit in the bar... so we stand, totally crammed in there. We sit at 8:00 and asked to order right away because we had plans to meet up with friends at 9:00. Our order was taken by 8:05... we watched a handful of tables get seated behind us, order and complete their meals before ours showed up at 9:10. We did not complain about it and o will give the chef credit for coming out to see us and apologizing for the wait. But waiting an hour to receive to steaks and a side is pretty wild. Needless to say, we would not go back.

I have heard from a few that the Chophouse was amazing. This was my first time dining at the Chophouse and will definitely add it to my NOLA favs!

One of the best dinners I've had in a while! Delicious and perfectly prepared. The filet was amazing, onion rings on point and carpaccio creatively made. Service was excellent. Would definitely recommend and come back!

If you are looking for a quiet restaurant to have a meal, DO NOT GO HERE. We went here for my husband's birthday and anniversary it was was so noisy we could not hear ourselves talk. Also send your bartender to Arnauds in the quarter to learn how to make a French 75 with cognac. We waited over 30 minutes for our drinks and my French 75 was not a French 75 - the wine flat, no simple syrup and too much cognac. We never never got bread although people around us did. When out meals finally came, the waiter forgot the wine and I had to remind him about it. The homestyle potatoes had no seasoning on them and while I like a crust on my steak, and have a salty palate, there was TOO MUCH SALT on the steak. And normally restaurants give you a free dessert on your birthday or anniversary. NOT so here and I would have thought they would have. For almost 300.00, it was a disappointing meal. I would not go back.

A very nice place but I was a bit underwhelmed overall. I ordered the 16 oz. New York strip medium rare and emphasized I wanted it closer to rare and it was close to medium and a little tough. Service was good but the place is a little loud for my liking. Dessert menu is weak.

This was a disaster. The food was good but the atmosphere and service was terrible. We made a reservation for 7pm. We waited over 30 minutes before getting seated because there was a “delay” outside. We get to our table and immediately realize something is up. The table beside is upset. We look over and realize there are three HUGE rats scurrying up and down the alleyway- about ten feet from our table. I had a very hard time even eating after that. Not to mention the guy on drugs who strolled through the alley and sat on the stoop staring at us. At one point a giant table that the staff had stood up fell over with a huge clap- sounded like a gunshot. We almost left. I think our waitress was really flustered because she forgot to bring my wine. The baked potato was the best part of the meal. And the baked shrimp was good.

Exceptional place for a fine dining dinner. Had the stone crab claw, steak, creamed spinach. All were exquisitely prepared. So we devoured everything! Beautiful atmosphere.
