I was finally able to scratch that Jamaican food itch(mostly) that I'd been craving. Not sure why it took me so long to make it over here as I frequent several other businesses in the area. As such I came to my senses and stopped by on a nice afternoon for lunch. I kept it basic with the jerk chicken plate and their crawfish stuffed plantain. I was thinking it would be something similar to mufongo, but they were completely different. Super tasty little cups Caribbean crawfish joy. Then there was the massive jerk chicken plate that seemed like it had half a chicken worth of food plus. I was advised to stick with the mild as the hot is extremely hot, but I'm morbidly curious after my 1st try. The mild did have a decent amount of heat, but nothing I would consider spicy. But I know once you start adding scotch bonnets things can quickly escalate. And I don't know if the greens were callaloo or not, but they were delicious. It was nice out so I was able to sit at one of their patio tables and take in the fact that a week earlier it was snowmeggedeon here. The service was outstanding, you could literally feel the warmth and love walking in. It was like walking into my Aunt's kitchen when I was little, 'Hey beybey, you need anything, what can I get for?'. Kids walking home from school would stop in and say hi! I'm holding that 5th star hostage until I can get one of those patties. I'm still craving one and they were unfortunately out of them. They're cash or payment apps only, no credit/debit cards.
Kid-friendliness: Very much so
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a small ramp and not a step at the entrance.

Attempted to call to place an order , simply asked a question to the young lady who was taking the phone order about salad dressing and not over saturation. As the lady explained to me which salad it was that I was ordering and that your pour your own dressing on the salad, the RUDE OWNER must have yanked the phone out of her hand. She proceeded to yell and ask what was my order. ..
No thanks ma’am , you’re too rude. The young lady who initially was taking the order had answered my question to the dressings.
Nasty owner , not patronizing anymore.
Very delicious and flavorful, and for African and Caribbean cultures you will appreciate the actually super hot peppers and spice

The price of the food was regularly priced for these dishes. I paid 20 for a jerk chicken plate. The rice was ok and the salad was good the chicken and cabbage however were disgusting no taste and no seasoning bare minimum chef quality food. The food was not the only problem it was the owners attitude that was the worst she was very cocky and far from humble. It’s sad that your food can’t back up your cocky attitude!! This lady needs a wake up call cause the way she acted towards me was very uncalled for. The she made me pay 10.00 for a spoon of rice and a handful of salad. NEVER again I would NEVER go back here!!! There’s better food not far and they give more options for sides and are perfectly seasoned and delicious. I spent over $100.00 because I wasted money on her and ordered from another restaurant that was sooo worth it.

Incredible food, but the prices are high, and also higher than posted on their menu, about double. It cost as much to go to Addis across the street, so be ready for full service dining prices. The food is incredible though, if I could get a plate and a juice for around 20$ I'd eat there every day, but you're looking at 30-40$ for lunch.
