I was finally able to scratch that Jamaican food itch(mostly) that I'd been craving. Not sure why it took me so long to make it over here as I frequent several other businesses in the area. As such I came to my senses and stopped by on a nice afternoon for lunch. I kept it basic with the jerk chicken plate and their crawfish stuffed plantain. Incredible food, but the prices are high, and also higher than posted on their menu, about double. It cost as much to go to Addis across the street, so be ready for full service dining prices. The food is incredible though, if I could get a plate and a juice for around 20$ I'd eat there every day, but you're looking at 30-40$ for lunch.
First of all, it is cash, cash app or Venmo only, so make sure you plan accordingly. The food is amazing. We walked up and the lady said the chicken was fresh and she had just made some cane juice and hibiscus drinks. Obviously, that's what we had to get. I just got the jerk chicken plate, $20, and my husband got the jerk chicken wrap, $16, just to mix it up a little. They did have a little clipboard with the menu and prices.
