A perfect way to wrap up our NOLA trip. We stopped in for breakfast before checking out of the Eliza Jane Hotel and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The food was delicious, the coffee was excellent, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The space has such a timeless charm; it's not old, yet it somehow makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. Loved the atmosphere and the inviting interior. A wonderful dining experience all around.

Got turned away at the door that they didn’t have a 1 person seating. Watched bigger tables walk in and get seated immediately. A single guy walked up asked me about the wait, walked in a got sat immediately. When I asked what was happening I was told that he was before me and that I was lying. Food was uncooked eggs asked for over easy and the whites weren’t even cooked. Never coming back. Server was very nice and apologized. Asked if I wanted different food so I just paid l(tipped her) and left.

2 days in a row came over here for breakfast and was not disappointed. One day was a sit-down full breakfast at the bar while the other one was a to go breakfast sandwich. Both were phenomenal, especially the homemade biscuits with scrambled eggs. Great people carrying on the neighborhood breakfast and lunch tradition at this diner. Highly recommend.

Great breakfast / brunch place. New owners since the founder died (I heard) but still great food (taste and portion size) at great prices. Order an iced coffee if you're brave...

We were in New Orleans for a 4-day vacation and ended up at Majoria’s Commerce Restaurant for breakfast on 3 of those mornings — that alone should tell you how much we loved it! The food was consistently great, and the service was warm, friendly, and welcoming every time.

The star of the show, though, has to be their butter biscuits. Hands down, the best we’ve ever had in our lives. My friend and I even joked (only half-joking!) that we’d fly back to New Orleans just for another biscuit.

If you’re in the city and looking for a true breakfast gem, Majoria’s Commerce should be at the top of your list.

Wow 🤩

Got a private tour of this amazing brunch spot last night when they were closed- this place has been here since 1965!!!

Highly recommend when in New Orleans!

I had the Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit with a side of breakfast potatoes with jalapeños and onions…. The biscuits are made from scratch daily, as is the dumplings, desserts, gravy, cookies etc!

Of course, I had an Iced Chai Tea Latte ☕️

MUST TRY 💛💚💜
