Beautiful atmosphere. Food was poor overall. Steak was so tough it wasn't edible. Deviled egg appetizer and lamb entree were fair. Drinks- Banana bread old fashion was good, weekend at Brian's was awful. Service was fair. Overall wouldn't go back.

Even though I'm a long-time resident of the city, this was my first time to the hotel. Came to enjoy a Friday afternoon brunch with live music. The menu choices were unique and delicious. The servers and hosts, and managers are very welcoming. Plan to return to enjoy a stay-cation in my city.

Great location near our Airbnb in the Warehouse District. We enjoyed our first dinner there so much we returned for a second dinner. Service was amazing, food delicious and drinks well-made.

Exceeded our expectations! We came for Easter brunch based on an article we read about places having Easter meals. Loved the ambiance, the drinks and food were delish. Shout out to our great server, Mary! Music perfect with DJ Lady Li!! Definitely NOT a “hotel bar/restaurant”. Would make this a destination when in New Orleans. What a gem! We will be back!

Amazing. Location. Food. Service. We walked in 15min before lunch closed up because google had the times wrong, but they were very kind and quickly took our orders. The food which was a simple salad and grilled cheese was exquisite and had nothing simple about it. All the flavors melded together and made the beautiful live music and entire vibe of the place even better. Finished with the pear chocolate tart which I highly recommend. My next visit I'll be sure to spend more time so I can really enjoy the space.

Jeffrey took great care of my dining partner and me. The food and drinks were as good as I had remembered from my last experience in NOLA. This was especially important given that it was a last minute reservation. We had booked a new restaurant since our last visit and after waiting 20 min to have anyone acknowledge our table or take a drink order, we got up and left and went to the Commons Club where Jeffrey provided great service. Thank you!

The first thing is about food! The presentation was good but not something special. I was expecting more from a special brunch. The worst thing was that I let them know it was my husband's birthday. When we arrived, I talked with the host, I told her of his birthday. She said that she was going to talk with the chef. We finished our brunch and nothing happened. It was the worst feeling because I was expecting something special for him, at least a birthday candle with his plate.

Reuniting with longtime friends who requested a quiet location and some non-spicy options, we went to Commons Club and had a delicious dinner and a wonderful weeknight evening. Brussel sprout salad was rockin and not overhyped by the reception desk. Gumbo z'herbs and giant fresh wild mushrooms was wonderful and refreshing. Rabbit sausage was yummy. Short rib was fork tender - the only quibble was the sauce a tad salty. Service was attentive, friendly, and patient with questions, etc. The quiet dining room is set back from the popular Funky Library bar, so dinners can request to be seated in a more lively or more quiet zone.

Make decent drinks but it's not a good trade off for how rude they are. Am even a hotel guest. Do better.

The food was great. Oysters were different than any we've had in New Orleans anywhere else and well worth the price. Other foods also good and a very creative pairing and presentation. Ambience was made to feel like we had privacy although there were others nearby. Service was great, servers very attentive and knowledgeable but food little slow coming out of kitchen.

Fantastic breakfast but a few odd things to point out for management to make this a 10/10 experience....had a 9 am reservation. Showed up at 8:59 and the hostess acted like we were an hour early. Sit on the couch and wait. Then we had to squeeze by the hpusekeeping/cleaning cart....not a welcomi ng breakfast experience. Do that when you close at night or before you open in the morning. Otherwise our waitress, the food, and the ambiance was wonderful.

The caviar was good, but the main courses (ribeye and swordfish) were marginal.... Not memorable nor would I order again. Crab rice was “fishy,” and server completely forgot our coffee. Dessert cake was dry. Really annoyed that online / website said valet parking would be discounted to $14 with validated parking card, but NO ONE at the hotel nor the restaurant had any idea of that. I ended up paying $22+ for parking (plus tips BUT parking attendants were perfect- courteous and professional and deserving of tips - they were the best of the evening). Bottom line - marked Commons Club off our list.

Visited during Mardi Gras on Fat Tuesday. Little bit of a wait to be seated but it was worth it. I had the red beans and rice with sausage. Perfect portion size and great flavor. This place is great and I highly recommend stopping in!

The service left us really disappointed. The food was good but not worth returning for. We brought in a cake and the server didn't bring us and plates or silverware, that was the only end of being ignored most of the dinner. Also, $30 for a half squash is wild.
