Compère Lapin has amazing service and a great atmosphere. It was a busy night for them but they were still very attentive and the food came out relatively fast. The pasta was tasty though nothing exceptional, especially when considering the price. They have a beautiful bar, so I'd more likely return for a drink next time.
The rumors are true! This place is absolutely delicious. Every meal was prepared with so much intention and care that I could taste it! Nina and Larry gems to the city and I look forward to going back!!!
We had dinner at the bar having failed to get reservations online. Our three main courses were all excellent with distinct flavors, identifiable fresh ingredients and perfect sauces and textures. Recipes are complex incorporating many ingredients but the end result is beautifully integrated flavors, with each ingredient performing a role in the overall taste profile.
