This is the vibe all should aspire to: chill atmosphere, great people, mellow local ambiance for conversation or to get work done. Only thing is I wish they had a little more seating, and that they would rotate their drip coffee offerings, but who can beat the über friendly café cat?!?

Former Louisiana residents (now in Texas) we returned to NOLA for the great food and fun of this place. A short trip across the Mississippi to Algiers Point gives you a great view of the city, and an opportunity for coffee at Congregation Coffee Roasters--only a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal. Taja made us so at home, and the iced lattes on a hot September afternoon with some pastries were delicious in every way. This local place is well worth your time. You will be glad you made time.

Had a odd encounter with the new girl with septum piercing. She gave me the wrong order, and when I told her it was not my order she rolled her eyes and asked me what I ordered again. This was so bizarre to me, I've been coming to this coffee shop for a year and never had this problem. A friend of mines also told me this happened to her with getting the drink order as well. Yikes?

This is such a perfectly, New Orleans-coffee- shop-atmosphere! It has that essence of all your favorite coffee shops (timeless and cross-generational yet still perfectly the spot for the young and solidly entrenched for the elders).

The food was amazing. The service was perfect. It is cost and filled with light. There are all these different spaces to sit and work that seem to call to different personalities... The window benches definitely call to a certain type. The interior invites conversation and also the calm needed to do work.

I definitely recommend it. Fully recommend! The neighborhood is quiet and historic. There is original artwork on the walls (for sale? No idea). It closes at three, but for those who work early and shift gears in the late afternoon, they would plan to congregate here. ?

Love this coffee shop. It’s my favorite coffee in New Orleans. The espresso is fantastic. I ordered the sausage croissant and it was so delicious. I wish I could enjoy this closer to home !! I even bought a bag of the coffee brand and will be enjoying them at home

Place is absolutely gross and the coffee wasn’t great either. The menu featured online is not even CLOSE to the menu that is in the store which features two sandwiches and a parfait. The inside smelled like rotten eggs and the entire experience was to the point where we just threw everything away and left. Years ago it was nice but it is definitely not the same which is a shame.
