This is the vibe all should aspire to: chill atmosphere, great people, mellow local ambiance for conversation or to get work done. Only thing is I wish they had a little more seating, and that they would rotate their drip coffee offerings, but who can beat the über friendly café cat?!?
Former Louisiana residents (now in Texas) we returned to NOLA for the great food and fun of this place. A short trip across the Mississippi to Algiers Point gives you a great view of the city, and an opportunity for coffee at Congregation Coffee Roasters--only a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal. This is such a perfectly, New Orleans-coffee- shop-atmosphere! It has that essence of all your favorite coffee shops (timeless and cross-generational yet still perfectly the spot for the young and solidly entrenched for the elders).
