I am a middle aged white woman, so take that for what it's worth. But shiiiiiiiit my 98% Caucasian self was rocking in the corner sobbing because my 2% African heritage (thank you ancestry.com) was set free and gone wild. I have no idea what they do to the food here (clearly I can't cook) but daaaaaaaaang my taste buds have never been so happy. I'm saving the green beans for last, never in my life have I said that. They are that good. Do yourself a favor, eat here....
This is usually the first stop I go to when I am in New Orleans. The food is incredible and the staff are all really cool and friendly. This place is definitely a highlight for me when I am in town.
Went here with my family of 8 late at night two nights ago and it was the best food we have had our entire trip, very seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our server Stefanie? With a “F” was hands down one of the coolest, chillest servers we have had on this trip.
