Great food and great service! The owner is very helpful. We own a small dive bar in MS and we have used many of the ideas that Cooter Browns does! This is a stop for us when we are in town.

I'm vegan and this place worked for me. They cooked a bean patty and put it on the spinach salad. It was soooo good that I wanted to come back everyday. The service is excellent. The only thing bad was their beer taps need cleaned. My Sierra Nevada didn't taste like Sierra Nevada.

Great bar food, huge selection of beers. It’s been a favorite of mine since visiting after Mom’s League Softball out at The Fly. The owners are genuinely good humans.

We ended up here after finding out that Port of Call was closed. I'm glad that we did because their blue cheese bacon burger is to die for 🤤!! OMG. Whatever blue cheese that they used was SO good and the beef and bacon were cooked to perfection 👌

I also really liked their Guinness beer & cider mixed drink. Not sure what it's called, but it was tasty.

This is a nice dive bar. Self-serve. With a really really good kitchen serving up some of the best sandwiches po boys and the like. Great selection of beers on tap friendly service. Tuesday's oysters are half off which is a really great deal. No waitresses so go up and order and take back to your table

The staff and other patrons were all so friendly! A lot of the other patrons we spoke to were locals that enjoyed that some tourists ventured over to Cooter Browns!! The oysters were so fresh, my oyster po’boy was excellent, my wife ordered a surf and turf po’boy that was out of this world!! The potato salad was LIFE CHANGING!!! Definitely will be back next time we are in New Orleans

Cool place with a nice outside area. It was busy but that's a good sign. Just make your way to the car and order a drink and enjoy.

Typical sports bar, hit or miss on the music. By far my favorite burger in New Orleans!

Came here late at night when we couldn't get into another spot. Was excited to see the kitchen was open and had a delicious Managers Special Po'boy! Drinks were delicious too! Great friendly atmoshere. Will definitely go back on my next trip. It's so easy to get to at the end of St Charles Street, the green street car line!
