This place is outstanding. If you drink in one spot on New Orleans make it this place! The bar tender and their dog make the trip worth it. Every time I am in town I go.

Stopped in a couple weeks ago. Lawrence, the only bartender working that night, was a predator and a creep. He was drunk stumbling around trying to hit on every woman that walked in the bar. It was pathetic. Needless to say I will not be coming back

Lawrence and We We are spectacular bar tenders. The pressed turkey sandwich is awesome. They even offer Deep Eddy vodka.

Lawerence is the absolute best!!!! He is so friendly with all of his customers and he also has the sweetest pup Miss Erma! It was hard leaving the bar that had such a cute pup I didn’t want to say goodbye to! A true great local bar!

Kitchen closes at 3pm.
To be honest I can't speak to the food or level of service but Google forces me to assign at least a star. Strolled in about 8PM expecting to be able to order dinner, which sounded great based on many of the reviews, their online menu, and most significantly, the MENU BOARD on display outside right by the door under the 'open' sign. The place was completely empty and was informed by the bartender that if we were looking for sandwiches, Butcher down the street was a good option. Butcher was indeed good, but pricier than planned for that night. Corporation Bar: update your website/Google info or at a low tech minimum, take in the menu board and maybe a simple sign outside informing people when the kitchen closes.

Kitchen was closed, no indication anywhere until we went inside to ask. Ended up directing us to another place that ended up being terrible too.
The italian beef offered in June was nothing like Chicago style so just avoid. Salty and no flavor. Best part was the edges of the toasted bread the not so much and not so good italian beef. You could pass on the fries too. No draft beer choices to speak of and rather loud. Been there done that as far as I am concerned. Staff was very nice and that was the best part of this visit.

Bring your barstool seat belt. Convention worker crowd, great music. Fresh catch of the day coming out of the smallest kitchen I've ever seen. Yummmm!! Cooold beer.

Phenomenal. Friggin phenomenal. Food comes out quick, prices are excellent, and the service is wonderful. It almost looks like a corner store / mini mart from the outside. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Come inside, order at the bar and enjoy. The gumbo and jambalaya really hit the spot. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Just a block away from the conference center too. Thank you so much for the hospitality and unreal food.

The environment was good, the food was good, the drinks were good, the service was good. The bartender never smiled or acted friendly 99% of the time. We were told this was a great place to go according to the ratings. I was here on a American Legion National convention and outside the doors of this establishment it welcomed the legionnaires. Oh well on to the next place then.
