I made reservations for our party of five while in News for Essence fest. The decor and ambiance was very nice. Our waiter was friendly and shred which dishes he liked. I had the house sangria and the duck confit with waffle. Both were delicious and very flavorful. They seemed to be short staffed but it was only an issue when we waited for our bill, but the manager helped with that so it was fine. Overall a great experience!

The food was absolutely amazing and our server was fantastic. I would definitely recommend for a large group or even date night.

We came on a rainy evening and there weren't many people inside. So it was nice and quiet. Our server Jeremy was lovely! The drinks were delightful and the duck leg was crispy and well seasoned! We enjoyed our experience and will be back on a sunny day to hopefully sit out in the courtyard.

Our table had the short rib hamburger, the fried chicken sandwich, the Benedict, the avocado toast all 5 stars except the eggs they were way over. Service was great and it was a cool location

Food was good, service was slow and menu was slightly misrepresented by offering an arrival beverage for Mother's Day. Two hours for brunch on a fixed menu is pretty rough to still spend $300.

When you charge as much as this restaurant charges for food, the service should reflect that. An inexperience weight staff and slow service.made for just an okay experience. There are so many better options in New Orleans.

Really loved the food! Our server was a doll, but the pacing of the meal was definitely off. Took way too long to get drinks and then all of our food (appetizers and mains) came out at once. You're better off skipping the desserts too. I would go back but only for the delicious chicken!

I was looking for a lovely dining experience with an upscale menu and a romantic ambiance to celebrate my husband's birthday. Covant was perfect. I made early reservations and when we got there we were able to move to the courtyard. The evening was gorgeous and their courtyard is special. We had trouble deciding what to order because everything on the menu sounded fantastic! We decided to split several things so we could taste more. Nothing disappointed! And the bartender made wonderful drinks. The evening and the experience at Couvant could not have been more perfect, but it would not have been nearly as delightful without our joyful, helpful, and friendly waitress, Shay! We will definitely be back. And next time we'll bring friends.

My husband asked the bartender which cocktails he recommended, and the response was surprisingly arrogant: “This is New Orleans—they're all good.” Unfortunately, both cocktails we ordered were overly sweet and underwhelming. We were so put off that we decided not to stay for dinner, which was a shame—the menu looked fantastic, and the ambiance was truly beautiful. It was a disappointing reminder that the overall dining experience goes far beyond just a great-looking menu or setting.

One of my favorites in NOLA. Fish dish is always superb. All clean plates in our group. Only criticism is a consistently slow bar service to tables. Kitchen is super efficient.

Opentable Diner

Had to purchase a $62 prefixed brunch that wasn't listed anywhere, otherwise I wouldn't not have picked that place. They almost charged us $32 for basic pancakes for my toddlers! It wasn't what we were looking for and food wasn't worth the $62.

Great Easter Brunch. We were a little late making Easter Brunch reservations for our weekend trip to NOLA. So, on Saturday Couvant still had openings for Easter Sunday. In a casual but hip setting we had a delicious 3-course brunch for $62. Perfect amount of food. Every dish we tried was excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. We were very happy to spend the morning at Couvant and to see the cool Eliza Jane Hotel, a Hyatt property.

An excellent alternative choice is a vary completive market with great French inspired overings.

We had an excellent time at Couvant! It was everything I was dreaming of for delicious French food including escargot, gougeres, coq au vin, and confit duck breast. Erika was an attentive and kind server. It fulfilled my French dreams on my visit to NOLA and I wish I could transplant it to my home town

We had a wonderful first evening meeting up with dear friends. They're first time in the Big Easy so this was a perfect start to their vacation. The food and service were excellent.
