Loved the food, French ambience, lovely furniture and atmosphere and everything’s quality was top notch. Our server who was a Turkish fellow was super humble, and friendly and took excellent care of us. Dessert was really good too. Will definitely come back.

Stayed in the hotel, so this was a no-brainer. Looked up the ratings, and they were high, so we tried it out. We got shrimp and grits and were pleased with the classic dish served with their twist. It was so good. Service was impeccable. Reasonable prices for what you get. Highly recommend!

Came in around 9:00. They were clearly closing up, but they sat us anyway. Not all restaurants would do that.
Our server was very good. My Old Fashioned was decent enough.
The food was top-notch.
My wife and I shared the brussell sprouts, a goat cheese salad, the huitres frites (fried oysters), beef tartare, and the flat iron.
Best tartare I've had in years. And the steak was cooked MR and it was amazing.
The portions on the tartare and the oysters were slightly small, but nothing really to complain about.
Could not recommend this place more.

We celebrated a birthday at Couvant inside the Eliza Jane. The staff and management were so incredibly accommodating to our party and gave us a beautifully set private table. Our waiter was excellent, drinks were great, and food was delicious. The fried oysters with caviar, french fries, flat bread, and short rib were some of the best we’ve had in New Orleans. Would definitely recommend Couvant for a small gathering or event. Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.

The food was good. I did make reservations for the courtyard but they sat us inside. Was not full outside.
The service was okay... A bit slow to even get started with drinks.
It is attached to the hotel and was able to get a table without issue on a Saturday night. Do recommend the braised beef but be prepared the portion sizes are a little small.

Probably the BEST hotel restaurants I've been to in awhile. The food is stunningly assembled and the service is amazing. The short rib is so rich and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend
I had such a great time at this restaurant last year and decided to come back again on my trip tonight. What a difference a year makes! They reduced the size of the steak by almost half, and when I confronted them about it, they initially trying to blame it on me ordering the wrong thing. Eventually, they admitted that they removed the old steak and replaced it with a new one that’s a lot smaller four months ago for about the same price. The manager said that inflation has been going crazy in this country in the past year trying to blame it on that. No, I’m sorry. Inflation in the past year has been 3% definitely not 40%. I showed them the two photos of last year and this year and the manager apologized and said that she was really sorry and understands why I'd be disappointed but they didn’t even offer me any compensation not even a free dessert or free drink or anything. See for yourself here with photos of last year and this year

Escargot and fries were outstanding. Mussels weee a little bland. Waiter was solid but didn't offer coffee at the end of the meal and the pacing of the food took longer than expected.

From the appetizers (escargot en croutes and deviled crab claws) to the mains, the food was truly fantastic. From the moment we stepped in, the service was fantastic. A standout in a city known for it's food-I highly recommend!
Always an unbelievable visit. The food is incredible, expertly crafted, and perfectly executed every time. The Croque madame is worth going out of your way for and the eggs Benedict is mouth watering. I've yet to have a bad meal item in my visits. The staff are great and the environment is relaxed. Great place for a meeting or brunch. The bar even has handy ports to plug your devices into.

My family attended brunch on Sunday, Some of us ordered the Culinary menu, others ordered from the regular menu. I had an excellent bloody mary. The croque monsieur was very good, as was the french toast, eggs benedict, and the shrimp and grits. Very good waiter. Only complaint was that the tables were very close together.
Food was great except the chickpea fries. Service was not nice at all. For such a fine dining establishment you would have expected the servers to be friendly and at least ask how you were doing. Unfortunately the servers were not friendly and rarely came and checked on us. Quite disappointing.

I’ve been wanting to dine at Couvant for a while and finally made reservations for Sunday brunch. The restaurant is beautiful and looked really clean. However, service was slow and we waited more than necessary. I started with the Absinthe Colada (weird and not in a good way) and Duck and Brie Spring Rolls (good and very unique). For entrees, I had the Croque Madame and the other guest had the Duck Confit and Waffles. Both were really good. The duck was fried perfectly and had amazing flavor. The waffle wasn’t as sweet as I would have liked but it paired very well with the duck. We ordered a side of grits and scrambled eggs to share and they were okay but nothing special. This was a nice meal overall so I’d definitely recommend Couvant.
