The restaurant hosted an Alsatian wine dinner. The food was very good - as one diner put it - made with precision. The wine pairing was perfect however the award has to go the the dessert pairing with an Alsatian sparkling wine. The dessert was a chocolate mousse with black forest cake. The combination was effervescent and sublime. Can't wait to visit again!

Food was great but the service sucked. The place was empty and even so my server, Ashley, was non existent. Then we were charged $40 for a margarita that was topped with Hennessy in a small glass not even a tall glass. Horrible experience. please do not visit they will take full advantage of tourist.

We came in for a nice Saturday brunch and had a great time. Service was prompt and I understood exactly the vibe our group was looking for. Their bottomless cocktail selection were all nice, and all food was delicious as well.
We did not have a reservation on a Friday night, but we got there about 5:30 p.m. and were seated without a problem. The food was absolutely superb, and the drinks were also excellent - I had $8 Moscow Mules but one of my companions ordered wine. It was so good that I went back the next day for lunch.

William was the best server we've ever had. We went to about 10 different locations for food on our trip to New Orleans, and this has been the best experience, so much so that we had to return. William was so nice, he recommended great dishes, and also told us which cocktails would go best with which dish. We could not recommend this place more.
Overall was good, not great. Price to quality of food not what we expected. Very friendly and good service. Menu was very limited. We weren't unhappy but not sure we would return.
I've been looking forward to dining at Couvant for a long time. It didn't disappoint for Brunch service on a Saturday. Food was delicious, service was fantastic! Lovely venue. My one and only issue was that 2 of the regular priced cocktails we ordered (espresso martini) and single mimosa were served in banquet sized glasses. I did bring it up to the server but he didn't know why either. No worries. Not a deal breaker but friend to friend- that's not cool. I will absolutely be back to this beautiful restaurant located inside and even more beautiful hotel. I know this tiny issue has nothing to do with the overall dining experience and is strictly related to the bar, but it should be addressed. ❤️
