For my dollar, the best ice cream in NOLA. The flavors rotate, there's always something different. The locations are consistent and always in good areas and the staff is always easy to deal with. The only drawback is sometimes there's a line because the ice cream is so delicious. The one thing I wish they did different was change the cones up or put sprinkles and chocolate on the cones. Don't forget to read the wall and try all the different varieties of Sundays and ice cream deliciousness. My only complaint, is that the place looks a little rundown. They haven't done any maintenance on the place in a while. It could use a little spring touch up.
Doesn't pass the vibe check.. certainly not the prytania store. Update your hours online if you aren't going to stay open late
CLOSES AT 9
Arrived at 9pm and was closed. Make sure to call first sense the store hours online are not accurate
Local made ice cream with great flavors. We always like the ice cream when we come here, it’s consistently good. The rude workers is what always reminds us of why we don’t come often. Always rushed, seems like you’re getting on their nerves and no customer service skills at all.
Creole Creamery was the perfect, delicious sweet treat to end a night out! The portion size was also very generous for the price. We purchased a mini scoop, single scoop, sundae, and a banana split and all enjoyed our choices.
We stopped in today and got the Peanut Butter Fudge sundae and the Skyscraper sundae and omg were they so good! They have so many amazing flavors of ice cream to choose from and the entire staff was so friendly and so efficient! Thank y'all!
They keep changing employees, new batch of younger girls are Cheap with there scoops and and was about to charge me for an extra order .
Love to be apart
Amazing ice cream place! This place closes at 10pm, fairly late for a late night sweet treat. There's free street parking and a few 30 min parking slots right in front of their door. Their menu is extensive for an ice cream shop, including coffee and affogato. I also like their variety of relatively unique ice cream flavors. I tried black and gold crunch but that just tasted like vanilla.
I wound up getting half a scoop of honey and pandan leaf and half a scoop of lavender honey. Both flavors tasted amazing!! The lavender honey really suited my tastes, and both had a strong sweet flavor. It was just like the floral scent.

Creole Creamery is ice cream paradise! They have everything, traditional flavors, unorthodox flavors, special concoctions of sundaes, and affogatos. Creole Creamery has the ice cream for you, whoever you are. The service is always great and the place is always busy with guests because it’s so good. I recommend the peanut butter fudge pie ice cream 😋
Very delicious ice cream! We loved their dark chocolate torte flavor, cafe au lait, raspberry, & chocolate peanut butter. They were very busy on a late Sunday evening, and I could tell the helper was a bit stressed by my indecision and requests for samples, but they were still very polite. 🙂 I did finally pick the 4 flavor sampler. They were all very good! The flavors are creative and yummy! Definitely go get some if you are in the area.
We enjoy coming here to check out what new flavors they have and sometimes what creative and silly flavors are on special. I love the banana varieties in a milkshake. Can’t really beat it. The line does get pretty long on busy nights like Fridays and Sundays. It goes by fast, though. The quality of the ice cream is high and the staff is courteous and professional.
Delicious ice cream! They need a public bathroom because theirs is usually locked and one of my kids inevitably has to go while we're there.
By far a new favorite. This place has flavors I never heard of before. I loved the honey lavender and magnolia flavors. Both refreshing floral flavors. They also didn't mind that I taste tested all the others too. They have large scoops, floats and splits that all give you a bank for your buck, too. Will definitely be coming back.
