Looking for a relaxed time in French Quarter? Take the ferry over to Algiers Point and visit the Crown& Anchor for a drink. A hidden gem. Food choice is what they call in the UK is crisps , other wise known as potato chips. After a few drinks, head over to Barracuda Tacos, It makes for a great day!

Classic English pub atmosphere. Darts. Brian the bartender is a fun chat. Close to the Algiers Point ferry. So you can pop over from the quarter for an easy excursion. Great patio with lawn games. No food.

Great little pub, drinks super cheap compared to New Orleans! Bar tender was friendly and informative.

My daughter and I were visiting New Orleans and decided to take the ferry over to try this bar. We were not disappointed. The bartender was very nice and was happy to make some great suggestions. We will definitely go back the next time we visit.

A True Gem of a Pub – Classic Vibes, Top-Notch Drinks

If you’re looking for a proper English bar with a welcoming atmosphere and an authentic lineup of drinks, this neighborhood spot is an absolute winner. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, friendly faces and the kind of charm that only comes from a place that truly knows what it’s doing.

Their Guinness is poured perfectly – rich, creamy, and smooth, just as it should be. Harp lovers will appreciate the crisp, clean draft that’s hard to come by these days. Whiskey aficionados will find themselves at home too, with a solid selection that includes Powers and Jameson served just right – no frills, just quality.

What really sets this place apart is its dedication to doing the classics justice. The English G&T here is refreshing... Whether you’re popping in for a quick pint or settling in for a longer session with friends, the drinks never miss.

There’s a timeless pub feel here – cozy, unpretentious, and full of character. It’s the kind of place you return to, not just for the drinks, but for the atmosphere and community.

Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a proper pint and a taste of English tradition. Cheers!

This was a very fun pub to visit! You enter the pub through a tardiff! There were so many activities to enjoy and so many cool things to look at. I haven't seen a cigarette vending machine in over a decade. Delicious, cold beers.
