Stopped here randomly for lunch and we had an amazing time. Everything tasted fresh and home made. The workers are very knowledgeable and were very helpful when deciding what to get. If I lived here I would be a regular here.

The owner preys on undocumented workers, by employing them temporarily then not paying them. Closes down then reopens, sighting “health code violations”, which may be true, but meanwhile his employees wait outside to be paid, finally give up, then he reopens with a new team. Rinse and repeat.

It took an hour to get our food, which was mediocre and cold. So incredibly overpriced. $16 for 2 tacos with no sides? I keep trying to wrap my ahead around how there were 3 tables and yet we still waited an hour to get the most basic dinner.....and $6 for chips. Jfc.

So much potential here because the food is good but the slow service made me leave this review. Very short handed in staff (no bartender, servers working kitchen, etc) caused everything to take forever, even to get chips and guacamole let alone our main dishes.

We had the wonderful pleasure of meeting the chef/owner of Taqueria Cunada tonight! He showed us how he makes a lot of the food there, and it is truly amazing. Everything is from scratch from whole foods and I mean everything. They make their own ancho Chile vegetable broth for the tortilla soup, they make their own tortillas, they dry their own ingredients and grind it to make their spice blends. And the food is all fabulous! We had the portobello al pastor tacos and the poblano tacos - they were mind blowing! The homemade salsas are all exquisite. The guacamole is beautiful. Absolutely everything is gluten free. There are awesome vegetarian and vegan options. This was honestly the best vegetarian Mexican food we've ever had.Vegetarian options: The vegan and vegetarian taco selection is excellent. Everything is clearly marked.Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free.Parking: It's right off Bourbon Street. Just walk there.

Holy balls! Well worth the wait for the Carne asada nachos. For being new and so far from Southern California, the Carne asada was marinated to perfection! The Queso fresco was *chef's kiss* Tommy was more than hospitable. It was like being with an old friend. Hope to be back again soon.

We were so excited to try this tonight. It said it was open at 6pm and the doors were locked at 6:30. What a disappointing place!

The food was ok. There was some sort of construction going on, and plastic picnic table seating, maybe expanding which will be great! Our bill seemed a little inaccurate. Nothing so bad though, I would go back.

The food is soooo delicious!! The vegan and vegetarian options are also really great. There's definitely not a lot of restaurants that offer these options in NOLA.

Fiesta Vegana plate was amazing. Everything was so flavorful. Not a lot of vegan options in New Orleans but this place is definitely on the return must do list.Vegetarian options: There are vegan and vegetarian options and they did not disappoint.
