My friends and I stopped into Cure for drinks and apps before dinner, and it was such a great spot to kick off the night. The drinks were tasty and well-crafted, and the apps were light and flavorful. Just note that they’re definitely small plates—perfect for sharing, but I’d say 4 people max per dish if you’re splitting.
Chill vibe, great drinks, and a nice way to start the evening!

Greta place to get cocktails and hang out. Plenty of comfy seating and a great selection of diverse cocktails. Snacks were good too. Came without a reservation on Saturday night and didn’t wait at all to get seated.

We were just passing by so we stopped in to C ure had the best cocktail amazing bartender, great atmosphere. We had the escargots absolutely delicious with the fresh bread. We will go back for dinner a gem of a place.
We went on a Friday night w a reservation. Server was attentive and super friendly. Food was absolutely delicious. Only negative was that we wanted to do the coolinary deal they had advertised but there was nothing to indicate that they were honoring it in the restaurant. Maybe you have to ask for it?? Not sure. Either way it was all delicious and we would return.

The drinks were delicious and the vibes of the place were very nice.
Unfortunately, we were made to feel very unwelcome by one bartender (a taller man with gray beard and a bald spot in the back) after only 15-20 minutes of being there and after being only one drink in. As we were trying to enjoy and finish our first drink he came up to us and asked in a harsh tone if we'd have anything else, seeming to imply that if we weren't going to order anything else then we should close out tabs and leave. This really soured the experience. The rest of the staff, however, was much more friendly.

We honestly had a really negative experience here and were pretty disappointed. We thoroughly enjoy visiting bars on the top 50 list, and are comfortable spending a bit more, expecting a wonderful time. Our visit here was ruined by the staff, who not only seemed to hate their jobs, but hate us as well. We asked the first server if he had time/interest in a dealers choice, and clarified that it was totally okay if not. We had an order in mind if not. He seemed frustrated by the request but didn’t turn it down. We saw him clearly talking about us. The server body language and glances our direction were clear. We liked those drinks and tried not to ask many questions or cause much frustration even though we enjoy learning about the chosen drinks. We drank that and then ordered off the menu to try not to ruffle any feathers. The second set of drinks weren’t even worth finishing - and we were met with more whispers behind the bar. We decided to close out and leave. Our bill was less than expected - we tried to raise the flag that they missed two drinks and they said the first server forgot to ring them up so “we got lucky”. We closed out and tipped and left. I’m not sure if all of the whispers were because they hadn’t properly rang us up and they were annoyed we got free drinks, but we gave them the opportunity to fix it, and the way they treated us was unwarranted. It put a damper on our time here, especially when we ubered a good ways from our hotel in order to try this bar. Extremely disappointed, and it now makes sense why we got some questionable looks from others in the city when we said we were going to visit Cure. I’m one for second chances, but if you have limited time in NOLA and it’s out of your way, don’t make the trip.

Restaurantji Recommends
A while ago, I came here for a drink with two close friends. We knew that this place is more upscale, so we made sure to dress well and treated it like a special occasion. It was so dimly lit inside that I could barely read the menu. When we asked for recommendations, the bartender was snarky, rude, and pretentious. We ordered drinks and shared a cheese plate. I felt like our presence wasn't welcome because we are young, and maybe they assumed incorrectly that we were students. We tipped, regardless, only to realize in the daylight that gratuity had already been included. We are still in disbelief that we accidentally tipped 40% on the WORST service we've received in years. What could have been a pleasant experience was soured because we were clearly not their target clientele. Am older and richer now but won't ever be back.

The Best Bartender in New Orleans!
Let me tell y’all something — Olivia is hands down the BEST bartender in the city of New Orleans! From the moment we walked in, her energy was unmatched. Her customer service? A1. She was friendly, professional, and knew exactly how to keep the vibe right.
Whether it was a custom cocktail or just good conversation, Olivia delivered every time. You could tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows in how she treats every single customer. I highly recommend checking her out next time you’re at the bar. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

Nice, trendy cocktail spot in Freret near Tulane and Loyola. The happy hour is impressive if you're a cocktail fan. There's a diverse list of cocktails to choose from for happy hour. We went to happy hour - there's a great variety of options of cocktails to choose from.
The drinks are just ok. Vibe is meh; not much personality. Besides our group of 3, only saw one other person of color, which may have explained the exceptionally poor service.
