The worst dining experience I ever had in New Orleans. The host who calls himself George was completely disrespectful and frankly, should not be employed there if he hates his job and the customers that much. The food was lackluster. Overpriced bar food basically with no flavor and thrown together sloppily onto a plate that looked like a plastic basket. It was supposed to be restaurant week, and we ordered off the special menu, only to be overcharged. When we asked to speak to a manager, “George” says there isn't one and that he wouldn't be around anyway to help you. All the while making fun of us. Overall. Don't waste your time. I'd rather pay for better food at the Hooks drive through on St.Claude than tell people to go to a place that is not worth the money
I tried Curio for lunch during Restaurant week. I went at an early time and got seated immediately as requested on the patio. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I opted for the RW special and enjoyed the appetizer more than the meal. The app was grit tots and the entree was crawfish cavatappi. The pasta was also great and had a good amount of crawfish, unfortunately it was a little heavy for lunch on a HOT day. I still recommend it, but I should have tried something lighter.
It was our first time at Curio and it did not disappoint! It was a welcoming atmosphere, Good food and friendly service. Would definitely recommend the brunch and bottomless mimosa's!!
Food was terrible but as a local I should have expected that. Wanted to grab food close to the concert venue and unfortunately this place was very close and totally underwhelming. Definitely altered to mood of the evening. Typical poorly cooked touristy food. Would not recommend or retry. Staff was incredibly nice and accommodating.
My friend is allergic to seafood and we wish she could have had more food options but the oil was used for both seafood and non seafood dishes.
My breakfast was great!!!! However, my travel companions was not! Her bacon was raw in lots of places. Her eggs were way over cooked! Pretty inconsistent!! Waitress was great at first and then disappeared. Had to flag her down to get the check, once she resurfaced.
We had an amazing experience dining here for Mother's Day! The service was top-tier, and the food was absolutely delicious—we couldn't have picked a better spot to celebrate. Although my reservation was originally for 1:45 PM and I was running a little late, the staff was incredibly accommodating. They didn't give up our table and even followed up with a courteous phone call to confirm. A special shoutout to Jadard (apologies if I'm spelling his name wrong)—he was truly exceptional. His attentive and friendly service made our visit even more memorable. Highly recommend this place!
We had the fried alligator, and all 5 of us said it was the most tender we have ever had. The brussel sprouts with mayhaw pepper jelly were excellent. We also had the blacked redfish with crabmeat and capers, the fried check BLT, the Salmon, the chicken sandwich, and the alligator poboy. Everything was delicious, we highly enjoyed our meal. We will recommend to others.
Great location with excellent customer service and delicious food. I would recommend this dining spot to everyone.
This place is a treat on Royal Street. The drinks, the food, the service. All a fine representation of this wonderful city, with a modern aesthetic. Eat here.

We had a later reservation but there were only a few tables. Our waitress was very pleasant and professional but it took a very long time to get drinks, place our order, and for our food to arrive. We then had to go find her to close our tab. The price was also high for food that was clearly frozen and then re-heated. The entrees had no flavor and especially for the price, not worth a stop here. I would skip this restaurant and go to any of the surrounding places for a meal.
We were seeking a quick early meal near the Hotel Monteleon. The service and food was good, but we nearly froze due to over air conditioning on the first floor. There was only a stairway to the 2nd floor, so that was not an option for us. I was also disappointed that I never received my points for using Open Table to book. I'll take that up with Open Table.
The table serving team were excellent, however it took 1hr for our entree to arrive even though the restaurant was not very busy. They generously compensated us for the late arrival of the food but it made the whole experience very disappointing.
We were seated next to front door and there was an extremely loud street performer right out the door. We could not even hear ourselves think much less talk amongst ourselves. Drinks were good. Food was very so so. The waiter was awesome- very friendly and checked on us often. Just wish we had a better table location.
The good was fine but our server was spectacular and very patient with all of the food allergies of one of our party. The street singer right on the corner was too loud for us in the balcony. I would eat here again.
