Probably the worst place to choose for dinner in New Orleans. Food is mediocre at best and the staff is awful.

This is a great little place to stop in for a drink, a snack or even a meal with your group or family. I had the gumbo it was great and an old-fashioned that they made really well. Curio was a great spot to drop in and cool off.Parking: It’s the French Quarter,It’s gonna be hard to park you better to rideshare or ride a bike. Hopefully you’re already staying in the corner or close by.

We took a group of 20 in for Brunch on a Tuesday and Curio took good care of us. We had made reservations in advance and they had a table all set up for us when we arrived. Service was fantastic, he answered questions, kept the drinks filled and got our food out quickly. Curio and staff did a great job taking care of our group, thank you!Kid-friendliness: We had a group of 11 adults and 9 kids and there were plenty of items on the menu for the kids to enjoy.
Shoutout to Raiko, such a lovely genuine server. He went above and beyond with us and our pups. Please ask for him, so nice to be helped like this!!Everything was so different and tasty. For appetizers we got the crawfish nachos, OMG sooo good. Who would’ve thought cheese and fish would go so well!!!My sister and I shared the pasta and the shareable app that has all 4 main dishes of NoLa. My favorite was the Gumbo, so good and different from the other places i tried it.My mom had the cheeseburger but it was so juicy so good, perfect temperature and the crispiest fries ???Cocktails were so good and prices for HH AMAZING!!????We were sat on the balcony, we were able to enjoy the corner, the view and even tho it was hot it was soo fresh.I’ll be back :)

Unfortunately we couldn't have lunch on the veranda. However, the place is clean and the food good. The service was absolutely outstanding. A nice place where to enjoy an authentic vibe of new orleans.

Bartender was a snob and took our orders but kept serving other people who looked obviously rich. She whispered something to another employee and several people were laughing. One gentleman at the other end of the bar kept staring at us. I felt so uncomfortable, 5 minutes in and she still hadn’t started our drinks so we left. I heard her say she was in training but but she clearly didn’t like us. Next time swallow your pride and don’t be so obvious that you don’t want to serve someone. No we aren’t rich but we had money but I guess you’re already making good money and didn’t need ours

Went on a Sunday afternoon was greeted at the door, and both guys were incredibly confused when I said we were meeting a party that was already there. Then they followed us as we looked for our party that had been there over 30 minutes. The place was very slow and I can tell you why. $9 for a 10oz draft that's was not cold. Service was HORRIBLE. The restaurant was DIRTY, Ther was so much grease on the carpet and the wood steps I wanted to leave. I say all this to not be a jerk, I hope someone takes me seriously or they will be shutting down. We went to Patty O's and Oceana, service and cleanliness were both a 10 out of 10.

This place is so inconsistent. Last time we came it was chill and the food was mediocre. This time we had to fight the guy playing host to get a table—insisted we needed a reservation even though it was very quiet. We quickly reserved online and he told me he was annoyed at me for doing that!! ? He then said he wouldn’t seat us until our reservation time (it was 9:50 and our reservation was for 10am) but he relented after 5 minutes of strange debate. The stress of that, topped by the server with zero smile, made the delightful breakfast stressful.

The wait staff was very attentive. We had a reservation and we were seated quickly. The menu was interesting but NOLA typical. Our entrees were good but not as special as I hoped.Dietary restrictions: They struggled with suggesting and offering something gluten free. The meal I got was likely GF safe but less inspired.
I normally avoid poor ratings but eating at Curio Bistro was a very poor experience that I would prefer visitors to the City not have. The decor is pretty and the building is nice. The staff are not at all friendly or engaging and the service is non attentive. The food is mediocre, nothing that cannot be had much better almost anywhere else. A good place to avoid.Vegetarian options: Some non-meat dishesDietary restrictions: Best would be to state any restrictions before orderingParking: Some on street parking in the areaKid-friendliness: Children welcomeWheelchair accessibility: Downstairs accessible

Had a Hemingway daiquiri and the crab claws. Everything was okay. The crab didn't taste super fresh but the sauce was really great.

Had a great dinner. The jambalaya in particular (I had it with added blackened fried chicken) was a standout. The dessert doughnuts less so, but overall it was all really worth it.
