We wanted a chill afternoon for our last day in NOLA and headed here for coffee and some games. Nice atmosphere, very chill.
Delightful place. People that work and own it are so patient and answered all the questions my 8 year old and I had. Our new favorite pastime is to rent a board game (to play while in the cafe) and hang out there for hours. The TTRPG groups seem incredibly welcoming. There is also food and drink! What more could you ask for?!?!
cool place with a air of vintage and nostalgiaa shame no outside food or beverage is allowed considering this isn't the kind of place you "just" spend two hours in
This place single handedly helped me find some of my best friends in the city when I first moved here. Years later we are still playing D&D together and I have to thank D4 for all the crazy fun Ive had since. The food is great, prices are reasonable and fair and the selection has always been great for me and the group I play with. There is a ton of space in the main store and their annex is perfect for bigger tabletop groups! Mark and Tracey are fantastic and I always feel welcome when I enter the door!
What an awesome little shop for RPG gamers! RPG and board games available for sale and play. Select cafe food and drinks there, too. Husband/Wife Owners are super nice and friendly. Great find in NOLA!
Great place for a birthday party! That's a hint, family!
Super cute and friendly great place to have game night
We were excited to find a lgs on our anniversary trip to New Orleans since gaming is what brought us together! The owner is super friendly, informative, and charismatic. While we didn’t eat there, the menu had a bunch of options to offer. The space is really neat with options to rent or buy games.10/10 will visit again!
Owners are super cool, they let you rent games, and sell quality stuff ?
Really great place with a wonderful community surrounding it. Love the couple who runs in, always very helpful and have cared about others and their family concerning the pandemic. Taking all precautions. Reasonably priced items, always a wide selection.

This used to be a cool little shop but that went the way of the dodo. Their gaming section is almost nonexistent which begs the question of "Why call it D4 when its mainly MTG? This is just my opinion, i guess the collage kids up their find it too difficult to roll the bones and instead enjoy the 15-20 minutes to lay a card down pace. To each their own.. Just saddens me that we get one good gaming shop in a town and it caters to the most boring system ever invented (again, my opinion). The staff are still awesome.
Staff are super nice and friendly. Location is very clean and well organized. Definitely would recommend for game night!
Loved it great service and they have a good selection of the Miniatures to paint
Good collection of books and excellent, friendly service. Very relaxed atmosphere and in a nice location with a variety of other interesting stores nearby, making it a great destination for a walk and shop.
They have a really nice setup for DnD and a little cade area. Not bad
