I am from Houston Texas and I am my husband and mother-in-law on Tuesday September 5, 2023, purchased 2 Red bean and Rice , chicken wings and Gumbo.. totaling almost 38.00 and this was the most disgusting, unseasoned, stuff We ever ate..Dont consider anything you cook as Cajun..Don't waste your money HERE!!

Man knows his clientele. Patrons are predominantly African American so he makes sure that everything is over cooked, over salted and over seasoned because that is what keeps them coming back.

Every time I visit New Orleans this is a must have. Gumbo is excellent!
Stopped in here to get some stuff to bring home from New Orleans. The food was decent. The fried rice was very good. The pig feet were good and so were the turkey necks. Gumbo was mediocre. Crawfish weren't even on the same level with some that I've had. The prices were sky high. My sister bought 3 packs of boudin, fried rice, and 4 wings and it was $70. I got 2 pig feet, 1 turkey neck, 1 sausage and small fried rice and it was $37. Way too high for the food you get and there's other places within a mile or 2 where it's half the price.
