Dave & Buster's New Orleans

Our waitress was SO sweet, attentive and professional; I wish I could remember her name. Overall we had fun, but here's a few issues listed below: If an arcade machine isn't working, please put a sign on it versus us waiting our money on a game that does not even work. We wasted money on the football game; it didn't work at all. We also wasted money on another one which is the skee ball machine. Once again, put a sign if it doesn't work. There are multiple other machines that didn't work but at least they had a sign. We are from Jackson, MS area and you all know we do not have a location here therefore we were so excited to go to one while in NOLA. We had to pay to park too?!?! At least provide free parking for the paying customers. The only help we could even find, besides our waitress, was the ticket shop guy. You all need more staff terribly.

Oh wow what can I say, that's about it. This was by far the worst experience I have had. My son was so excited to about this place. Cover charge for kids, waiting on food for 2 hours, food cold when you get it. Manager overwhelmed and has no idea how to handle a large crowd. Never ever will I come here again.

Our waitress was fantastic as my grandson was playing games she would come find us to see if we needed more to drink!!

Wasn't impressed. I've been to D&B's all over the country and this one was hands down the worst. I'm not going to go on and on about everything because it was all bad.

From the moment we got in there it was awful service was slow every employee there looked lost and didn't know what was going on the manager himself looked lost as well we couldn't even play any games cause we spent two hours waiting on overpriced okay food I seriously don't know how they are still open been here 3 times and each time it was worst

This is my first time going to Dave and Booster bringing my two kids. This experience is real horrible. The food came out cold. I'm not the type of person to complain as much. That's why I never say nothing about it. I just said I would never visit here again the praise value was great. Some of the machines was not working and it took my credits like I say I'm not the one to complain, but this experience was real horrible. I spent over $140 really bad

I like Dave And busters, the food is always fast. Friendly service, the atmosphere is always amazing.

Our server was very nice but the service was painfully slow. There were a bunch of servers waiting for customer drinks and the bar staff seemed to be on some sort of go slow. One in particular found the need to walk around the bar twice with every drink. She had lots of loud advice for other staff but did almost no work herself. The manager (the guy in the suit) looked way out of his depth. The burger was pretty good, but getting a knife and fork was difficult. We had fun playing pool tho.

pretty bad experience. I ordered food that when I tracked said it was ready but the girl up front (Morgan) insisted that she has nothing up front and I would have to just wait, no one checked in the back with the restaurant for my food. When I first came in they couldn’t get the groupon to scan for some reason the girl(Morgan)had to call the manager which took a while and the manager simply scan the barcodes and handed me my cards. Also the young lady told me that they do not validate, I live in New Orleans, have been here before and for validation. So now I’m just standing here waiting for food that the tracker says is done but no one wants to check for my food the young lady’s name is Morgan. Very rude service. I visited today 3/16/2025

I attended a party yesterday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The server on duty was exceptionally attentive to the party and also the party on the other side of us.I will be back

the food is better than I expected, but the service is so very awful. be prepared to wait a long time for a table, for your food and your check.

Disappointing Experience at Dave & Buster’s

We booked Dave & Buster’s for our son’s birthday, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The service was terrible—staff were careless and unprofessional. It was overpriced for what you actually get, and it definitely didn’t live up to expectations.

We had issues similar to those mentioned in other reviews—staff was inattentive, and there was a lack of organization. The birthday package offers only 2 hours, but from the very first hour, they started rushing us out. It felt like they just wanted us to leave as quickly as possible, which was extremely frustrating. We ended up spending a lot of money with little to show for it.

I even had to apologize to my guests because of how poorly we were treated. On top of that, the games were either broken or malfunctioning, and we were told the tickets and points we were given wouldn’t add up to much. I’ve seen other reviews mentioning these same issues, and unfortunately, our experience reflected all of them.

I would not recommend hosting a birthday party here; you’ll just end up spending a lot for very little. We will never be booking with Dave & Buster’s again.

Definitely not worth it.
