Dave & Buster's New Orleans

I like Dave And busters, the food is always fast. Friendly service, the atmosphere is always amazing.

Our server was very nice but the service was painfully slow. There were a bunch of servers waiting for customer drinks and the bar staff seemed to be on some sort of go slow. One in particular found the need to walk around the bar twice with every drink. She had lots of loud advice for other staff but did almost no work herself. The manager (the guy in the suit) looked way out of his depth. The burger was pretty good, but getting a knife and fork was difficult. We had fun playing pool tho.

pretty bad experience. I ordered food that when I tracked said it was ready but the girl up front (Morgan) insisted that she has nothing up front and I would have to just wait, no one checked in the back with the restaurant for my food. When I first came in they couldn’t get the groupon to scan for some reason the girl(Morgan)had to call the manager which took a while and the manager simply scan the barcodes and handed me my cards. Also the young lady told me that they do not validate, I live in New Orleans, have been here before and for validation. So now I’m just standing here waiting for food that the tracker says is done but no one wants to check for my food the young lady’s name is Morgan. Very rude service. I visited today 3/16/2025

the food is better than I expected, but the service is so very awful. be prepared to wait a long time for a table, for your food and your check.

Disappointing Experience at Dave & Buster’s

We booked Dave & Buster’s for our son’s birthday, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The service was terrible—staff were careless and unprofessional. It was overpriced for what you actually get, and it definitely didn’t live up to expectations.

We had issues similar to those mentioned in other reviews—staff was inattentive, and there was a lack of organization. The birthday package offers only 2 hours, but from the very first hour, they started rushing us out. It felt like they just wanted us to leave as quickly as possible, which was extremely frustrating. We ended up spending a lot of money with little to show for it.

I even had to apologize to my guests because of how poorly we were treated. On top of that, the games were either broken or malfunctioning, and we were told the tickets and points we were given wouldn’t add up to much. I’ve seen other reviews mentioning these same issues, and unfortunately, our experience reflected all of them.

I would not recommend hosting a birthday party here; you’ll just end up spending a lot for very little. We will never be booking with Dave & Buster’s again.

I will NEVER book another birthday party at Dave & Buster’s after the awful experience we had. The customer service was absolutely terrible.
Our party was reserved from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, but at 4:20 PM, the staff was already hovering behind us, clearly waiting for us to leave. The entire party section was empty, and there were plenty of available tables, yet we were told that if we wanted to stay for just one more hour, we’d have to pay an extra $75. I ended up tipping $45 to stay till 5 pm, but guess what? At 4:50 PM, she was already standing right next to us, making sure we were getting ready to leave.

To make matters worse, there were no utensils on the table at all. One of my guests politely asked for a fork, and instead of simply bringing one, the waitress responded with attitude, saying, “You need a fork to eat nachos?” It was completely unprofessional and made my guest feel uncomfortable.

The whole experience was extremely uncomfortable—not just for me, but for my guests as well. I spent almost $1,000 on this party, only to be treated with such poor customer service. Instead of making the celebration enjoyable, the staff made us feel rushed and unwelcome.

This was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience, and I will NEVER book a birthday party at Dave & Buster’s again.

We had the best service by Big Baby Bartender! Her signature cocktails were delicious! The meals were fairly priced and savory, we did not play on the floor, but will definitely return for the restaurant

Appetizer plates were dirty, floors were sticky. Trash can overflowing when they just opened. Took forever to get part of our meal. Definitely signs of lazy management.
