We saw on IG that this place was open. We go and the doors are locked. Found out that the event was reservation only but they allowed us to do a take out order. The service was Great and they were sooo nice. The food was awesome the right spice and Seasoning I drove allthe way from TX for....my ONE COMPLAINT is 1 order was not dungeon crab but got snow. And it was still good. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

I will never again waste my money. I have been a customer for over 5 years since the very beginning. I have wait for hours that’s how good they us to be. But on yesterday I spent almost 100 on old seafood. Me an my family both are sick from eating here. They was out of everything mind you we got there for 1:30 they open for 1 if I’m not mistaken. But the food quality is unacceptable and they are going to KILL somebody. Please save ur money.

The first time was ok but the second time wasn't so good. Came in and sat down and no one came to our table for 45 minutes before I had to get one of the employees attention to ask about something and they wasn't busy. Said they had want I wanted but never got it. Just got a drink and left. One of the worst experiences

Initially, I had high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately, it was a downhill experience. After consulting Google, I took an Uber to the location listed, only to discover that it was closed. This was a waste of money. We then proceeded to the open location, which seemed a bit rough on the inside. The benches at the table were unfinished, some areas were not properly cleaned, and the menus had food stuck to them. Despite these issues, we decided to stay and placed our order. It took 20 minutes to receive two beers and almost an hour to get our food. We ordered charbroiled seafood oysters, Dungeness crab Platters #1 and #3. The food was quite flavorful but almost too salty. If you're mindful of your salt intake, you might want to avoid it. Additionally, a couple who arrived approximately 30 minutes after us received their food 15 minutes before us. Throughout this time, our waiter did not check on us or provide updates about any kitchen delays. Due to the poor service alone, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Food is amazing at this place this was me and my husband second time trying this place came all the way from Baton Rouge on Valentine 2024 just to eat here spend 300 damn dollar and very disappointed. First we order 2 of the 120 boil seafood plate they thought we said one so had to wait another 35 min for the second one but I wasn't even mad cuz it was a misunderstanding but when the second one came out it was damn near Nooooooooo sauce on it so I ask for some more sauce to go since at this time we was just ready to go after waiting so long and the man looks me dead in my face and said we out of sauce we waiting on more. So I just spend 120.99 on a plate that I didn't mind paying cuz the food be good but this time I can't even get sauce on my food like wow. When u didn't have a problem getting my money Plus the shrimp was over cook couldn't pile it cuz they was old. I hate to leave a bad review on a black own business but I drove from BATON ROUGE to new Orleans just for this food and didn't get the same service I got the first time I came? very very upset plus waiting another 20 min for the lobster tail after having to wait 35 min for the second 120.99 seafood boil. Uuugh

The Real Thing

The wait is way too long. It’s unorganized completely. The bathrooms should look better than they do. And I hate the fact this company doesn’t let their customers switch the sides especially if they do not eat red meats or corn. Place charge a lot for not letting customers trade out sausage & corn for potatoes. This place is extremely slow.

Grade A, A 1 food service and all that. If you in New Orleans or coming to New Orleans. Your visit is not complete with out a stop by here. To me simply the best seafood in the city. Cajun Seafood on Broad is a close second and that's only if you desire boiled seafood. I had the Dungeness crab with corn cob, turkey neck, shrimp, potatoes and a side order of d&d sausage. You can dine in here and have a few drinks. This was the old Whispers night club from back in the day. Looks like they put a wall up and made it smaller. It still has the night club feeling in there. You want be disappointed. Make sure you add a side of D&D smoke sausage its very tender. I love this place. Go here when in town.

Horrible service!!!!Was invited to this location to watch the Falcons/Aints game. So we order wings, a coke and sprite 2 beers and a drink.1st off she said the drinks were bogo free (Lies) the total cost was $12 for 1 drink, they just served them in small cups and charged $6 for each. My friend asked for something off the menu they didn’t have then the second order the waitress had to go back and check to see if they had that. We ordered 9pc wings medium and onion rings. We were brought 6 big pieces of fried chick with a Crystal hot sauce bottle and a packet of ranch dressing. When we asked about the wings the waitress responded “are those not wings?!” Then I asked if we could get our coke and sprite she brought a can of each with no cup no ice.Clearly this establishment is still trying to get it together because her service was horrible and the location did not look like a sports bar/lounge. They have some work to do glad the amount my husband spent was a small amount for the service we got! Next time I’ll stay on the right side of the tracks in the French Quarter!!

Where should I begin? Lord these black businesses in New Orleans are something else that’s why I spend my money on large companies and where food is desirable . Everytime I come to this location, the service is horrible and the price always fluctuates. Can you explain to me why the price always change for the same food item? Today I waited 30 minutes for one snow crab plate. Snow crab comes out skinny . I asked for a refund because I know how these places are, they will make 20 excuses and argue with you on why they satisfied you. Penny pitching

No very good, food was simple, fried fish was soggy. Seafood smelled kinda funny, I was afraid to eat it and threw it away. Don’t try the easy location.

Finally had a chance to experience what everyone has been raving about. We had the seafood boil with king crabs, lobster, shrimp, corn, potatoes and turkey necks. I will say it was okay. If you love butter, you will love the boiled seafood. I taste mostly butter but barely no other seasoning. The service was good and the lady that took our order was very nice and friendly. This is a neighborhood restaurant with mostly pickup and go orders

Between the bartenders and the owner, this establishment is tacky, disorganized, and unprofessional. I came w a party of 8 and paid $20 per person to partake in the "tap out" special. $20 for unlimited drinks between 8-10. My party was the first to get here, and ordered food. Between 8-9, we all got one drink. Once it got busy, you find yourself standing at the bar for over 15 mins trying to get the next drink. Then when the bartender yells at you cuz you lock eyes and raise your hand to get him to stop ignoring you. We asked for our money back because there's no was in hell I'm paying $20 for one drink at a hole in the wall establishment. And the music is so fuckin loud you can't even hear each other talk. If you come here, you have been forewarned. And the food ain't even good. Save your money
