Dian Xin is such a solid spot in New Orleans. Everything comes out fresh, flavorful, and super comforting. The dumplings are definitely the stars, perfectly made and so tasty but honestly everything we tried was great

The atmosphere is underwhelming and not trying to impress; they let the food do the talking. The lack of trendy ambiance is perhaps a welcome trade off that allowed us to just show up without a reservation in a Friday night and get seated right away.

Dian Xin came highly recommended and lives up to expectations. The soup dumplings and pan fried dumplings are top notch. The pan fried noodles come with chicken and shrimp, so you don’t have to worry about a New Orleans meal without shrimp. They are also known for a jianbing (a crepe-like dish) and pork bao buns, we just got full and couldn’t order more. But the table next to us did order both and it looked soooooo good.

Dian xin in Decatur is the best Chinese restaurant in the city. Me and my friends have been coming here for about 2/3 years now and it’s always 10/10. I always get the soup dumplings but have also had the orange chicken and rice, egg rolls, and cucumber salad. Tonight I door dashed the stewed beef soup and it was truly amazing. Do not pass this place up! Small restaurant, good service, amazing always hot and perfect food, no excessive wait time, and the best part is that they don’t price gouge like crazy like most restaurants in the city do.

I was in the mood for some Chinese food. We came for takeout. This place was kinda expensive but the food was really good. Eggs were huge but it was swimming in grease!!!! So those didn’t get eaten. Overall it was good.

If you're stuck craving Chinese the soup dumplings are worth the walk. Wonton soup was decent. Sauteed bok choy was the highlight. Hard pass on the house spicy soup - not spicy, heavily overcooked seafood that was rubbery, and raw veggies. Left the whole bowl on the table untouched but for a few bites to discover how it wasn't worth going further.

The food is really delicious. This is a Chinese restaurant I frequent. They have a wide variety of dishes, and the service is excellent. Those who like this kind of food should definitely give it a try.

The food was hot and fresh. The service was quick. The price was incredible
2 appetizers 2 drinks and 4 large entrees with lots of rice still under $100! In new orleans thats impressive!! The waiters are young and energetic. When listing french quarter restaurants Its a pretty slept on place comparatively.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I've tried in New Orleans. Excellent Hong Kong style dim sum and wok main dishes too, Peking style pork chops, Mongolian beef and beef stewed noodles are delish. Fast Uber Eats delivery too!

We found just by chance trying a fast dinner. OMG, the hot and sour soup was awsome. The dumplings are great (be careful they are hot bombs) and finally the black steak...the service was very polite and helpful. Everything right on time. I would change the unrelated pop/rock music and that it.

It is a nice casual Asian place. Food was great — we had beef eggplants and wonton soup, — both amazing.

They have better selection of drinks that you would expect and prices are very reasonable, especially as for the French Quarter.

The only reason why I rated it 4*, I do really prefer my food served in a not chipped tableware.
