We went with a large group of friends and the group dining room was empty when we arrived to we were able to be seated quickly, many people came through to pick up take out while we were eating so this location seems to be a popular spot for getting food to go. We ordered 5 main dishes, a soup, and 4 sides. The steamed veggie bao was light and fluffy with good amount of filling, lotus root salad was well made but very bland and oily- I added some hot pepper and soy and it brightened right up. The fried sides were very well made. Portion sizes are large and all the main dishes came with a side of perfectly cooked white rice. There are a few vegetarian options but not as many as expected from the online menu. The wait staff didn’t refill our water and getting the check took a while so you may have to make more demanding requests than we did. I’d get the only veggie main dish they had (broccoli) again because the price was reasonable and it was less oily than all my friends meat dishes but I wouldn’t dine in

The food here is absolutely delicious, but please be careful if anyone in your group has a shellfish allergy! Our waiter didn't know that one of our dishes contained shrimp despite us asking specifically about it and we had a very close call. Other than that this place was great, so just keep that in mind!

Best Chinese I’ve ever had BUT for gods sake please remove the bell peppers from the fried rice! Ain’t nobody ask for that! I order Chinese because I’m craving traditional dishes not remixed Nola spinoff. So unnecessary. I spent 30 minutes picking the bell peppers out of my fried rice. Tasted perfect after that not greasy like most Chinese places. PLEASE STOP DOING THIS. Love y’all thanks

Get the dim sum and soups, but anything else can be very greasy. There’s at least one cook who’s got a heavy hand with the oil.

I only write reviews under extreme circumstances, eg. A surprisingly exceptional meal or a real crummy one. Unfortunately, this was the latter.

Maybe we went on an off day, maybe there was some other circumstance but all 3 dishes we ordered were bottom tier and, in the case of my Mongolian beef, a miracle in culinary sciences.

I say it was a miracle as they have managed to turn beef, probably of a choice cut, into something that resembles beef flavored and colored jello. This wasn’t from some sort of braising process but probably the act of velvet if the beef way too long. Like overnight instead of the 15-30 mins it should be. I have never been so turned off by the mouth feel of a protein before. Other than that there was little flavor in any of the dishes and zero browning on any of the proteins that were, presumably, wok fired.

WOW, that's how u explain my experience. I've reviewed many similar places in the US. This is hands down fantastic. To the point that I will be eating the next day here during my visit.

Garlicky pork rib hot pot base plus tofu skin, bok choy, prince mushrooms are the essence of winter’s reprieve. Plus soup dumplings and great service in a convenient location but still somehow off the beaten path? Go here tomorrow.

完全报吃!
I normally don’t comment any restaurant, and this is my first time. I stayed in New Orleans for 3days and want eat some except New Orleans cuisine. This is the best Chinese restaurant near my hotel. It has good comments on google map and so many people recommended this on Rednote.

Me and my gf ordered Pan Fried Tiny Bao and Seafood Dried Hot Pot. Tiny Bao is only 4 with 13 bucks, it is not worth totally, also they didn’t told us the amount.

The seafood dried hot pot is the worst. We think it should be fresh bc NOLA is closed to the sea like fresh shrimp. But the seafood they give us is the worst, tasted rancid like the seafood was frozen for a century, we also ordered the ramen, even didnt have any spicy flavor.

This is worst Chinese restaurant we ever tasted, will not visit and not recommend them.
By the way, their table are greasy and sticky, also, the waiter didn’t care about us and even didn’t offer the water.

It's hands down the best. Grab the wonton soup on a rainy, cold day. Grab the cucumber salad on a hot day. You can't go wrong.
