Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse

We were in search of a nice dinner to celebrate our engagement and after a terrible experience at Chemir a la Mer the night prior, we decided to give Dickie Brennan's a shot. I am so thankfull we were able to secure a reservation...they filled up very quickly. We were greeted with congratulations and even had a ballon at our table. Deja was so, so friendly and attentive. Our steaks were cooked just as we requested and so delicious! The sides werr just as great. We look forward to donong here again the next time we are in New Orleans and we will highly recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans. Thank you for such a great celebration dinner!

Absolutely flawless from start to finish. I had a crabcake, caesar salad, and a prime strip w/scallops. Best crabcake I've ever eaten, the steak was very high quality with real flavor to it, no sauce needed. Perfect service from Jeffrey, who always seemed to know what I wanted before I said a word, and never made me feel rushed. I sometimes feel overlooked as a single diner, but but feel that way here. I highly recommend!

Everything was AMAZING!! Filet cooked beautifully, roasted mushrooms to die for, and dessert duo fab!!! Joe, my server, was AWESOME also, very knowledgeable, friendly, and top-notch! Highly recommended!!!

What a fabulous dinner! We have been going to this Steakhouse for many years when we are in town. We chose it to celebrate birthdays- both me and my hubby. The table was decorated and it was a cozy booth in a great location. Many of the staff came over to tell us happy birthday. Our waiter was Cornelius and he was amazing - so kind and helpful - knowledgeable!! We had the bbq shrimp- wow- the sauce was bread dipping fabulous!! We had the Chateaubriand dish- and it did not disappoint- everything was superb!! A must try if you want something to share!! Then we were both given a butter pecan homemade ice cream in a scrumptious editable sugar pastry shaped in a bowl with candles and happy birthday written in chocolate!! Yummy!! It was a very memorable dinner- highly recommend!!

We had an overall good experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere and food were very good. Even though the service was good, it was not comparable to other high-end restaurants that we have been to all over the world.

The food was delicious. The best crab cake I have ever had in my life. The steak just melted in your mouth. Nick our server was so attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend this one to anyone who wants to have a steak dinner in the French Quarter.

Excellent dinner. Steak was perfect, and so delicious. I was definitely under dressed, (flips flops and a t shirt) but I wasn't made to feel unwelcome in any way. It's right off of Bourbon st, so..... Great food and great service. Will definitely be back.

Stopped in wed night solo at the Bar . Elaina was a gem and took good care of me . Dinner was awesome and I had a ball. I'll be back for sure.

The service was great but the steaks were not. We ordered four petite filets, and two of them had large gristles running down the middle. Our last three experiences here have been perfect, but it was just really off this time. The cream spinach was really watery. Our waiter, Cornelius, was the only good part of the experience. Cornelius was so nice and friendly. The kitchen replaced one of the bad steaks and it still had gristle running down the middle.
Overall, a disappointing and really expensive experience that could have been so much better.
