The worst and most dry donuts I’ve ever had,as far as the prices go,they were completely outrageous. The donuts were so hard af to the point that I thought I was going to lose one of my teeth, but on the bright side they had some nice boxes and great customer service

Great location and a cute spot. That being said, remarkably unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. Almost laughable.

The staff is not friendly. Told the girl thank you for making my coffee and never even responded. WOULDN’T RECOMMEND. They don’t have whole milk but are directly across the street from Whole Foods. Sad. Get it together management. Y’all can do better.

I was in the mood for a cinnamon roll, and a quick search online told me that District Donut was the place to try! The cinnamon roll was unlike any I've had before: it was fluffy, generously filled with cream cheese frosting, and brûléed on top, adding a really delicious, crunchy layer of caramelized sugar ($4.75). It was also huge - it filled the entire doughnut box! I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee, which honestly was disappointing. I'm not accustomed to NOLA coffee shops' use of crushed ice, and I can safely say I am not a fan. There was so much ice and so little coffee, and the coffee itself tasted weak (with no distinguishable chicory flavor)...mostly like condensed milk. In total, I got five sips of coffee - at $4.60 for the cup, that's almost $1 a sip! The shop is tiny, basically a grab-and-go. It has limited outdoor seating, but the seats have seen better days, were sticky with some unknown substance, and were missing slats of wood. We ended up walking across the street to Whole Foods, which has ample outdoor seating. I definitely thought the cinnamon roll was worth the stop in, and given the high quality of the baking, I'd check out one of their more full-service locations in the future.

Donuts so creative and delicious. The breakfast taco was outstanding as was the egg and cheese biscuit. You can take away!

Loved this little coffee and high-end doughnut shop. Their coffee/lattes/etc is soooo good. (FYI for the chai lovers out there theirs is pretty sweet.) Their doughnuts and other baked goods are SOOO good but unfortunately it's really a grab a go place. There's a small patio but wasn't very nice to sit in. We enjoyed it a lot though and during our stay in NOLA visiting with family we went there practically every day for coffee and baked goods.

I've been meaning to review District Donut for a while now. Their coffee is great, and I'm a particular fan of their cold brew. And, as the name suggests, their donuts are very good too, with the standout being their brûlée'd cinnamon roll, which is just phenomenal. (It's worth trying the breakfast sandwich too, though it could use a nice sauce.)

Very tight/small location. No indoor seating. There's some limited outdoor seating. Wish they had more varieties in their donut selection. I ordered 4 different donuts. They tasted pretty good but nothing out of this world. I did feel like the dough part was like a day or 2 old. Didn't taste fresh. I also tried the location in the lower garden district and the donuts were kind of stale too. I won't be returning.

Nice vibe like everything in this area. Presentation of food and drink is good. However, execution is terrible. On the food; Sandwiches that are very hot on the outside with a cold center, plain biscuits served with cold butter chips making it difficult to spread. On the coffee; overly sweet coffees like Starbucks but unlike Starbucks has a poor balance of flavors. It's like drinking sweet and bitter lattes or sweet and sour Vietnamese coffees.

Grateful to find such a yummy gluten-free cake donut! I also enjoyed a matcha latte with oat milk and honey- it's a super-specific cheat code for my health condition that I got to enjoy after all the food revelry that is New Orleans. Went there with family and toddler an hour or so before closing so it was nearly empty. We sat both indoors and out, which our toddler enjoyed.

Glad they use Califia nut milk but my coffee was so watered down for being a double americano and NO vegan pastry items. Would be great if they had them gluten free vegan also. Why don't enough coffee shops in Nola cater to the health minded?? Plenty of us!

Has to be one of the best donuts I've ever had. Wish we had one of these back home! And it was sure tempting to try the cinnamon roll.

This donut oasis is so popular that if you show up after mid morning your favorites are likely to be sold out... Otherwise a solid 5! Their glazed plain donut is a so unique and exceptional... A must sample.Kid-friendliness: Try the plain glazed. Exceptional.

We made this a regular stop for coffee during our week-long stay a few blocks away, and had the ice cream one day. Terrific ice cream! The mango sorbet and the cookie flavored ice cream were chewy and flavorful. Check out their back patio, as it is a special place, too.
