Holy moly, you MUST get the hot honey fried chicken french toast biscuit, $9. It's what dreams are made of. Perfectly fried chicken, a melted honey butter on a French toast biscuit. Wow, we split it and wished we got our own. The donuts when I visited were more Easter themed, many of them with marshmallow filling. I went with the King cake donut. It was topped with pretty pink, yellow and purple sprinkles. I thought the fillings would just be vanilla but it had cardamom and cinnamon too. The filling was colored with a fun bright blue. We were definitely impressed with the new edition of food items, when we visited years ago it was just donuts. You have to visit if you're in Nola, you won't regret it!!

after going there this morning, i'm pretty sure i'm going to visit tomorrow morning too! the donuts seem to cycle daily. my partner and i were real pleased with the food (we both got biscuits and donuts, mine vegetarian and his not) as well as the coffee (nitro cold brew and iced lavender latte). the person working front of house was also able to give me recommendations and help me avoid dishes with meat and nuts, as i have an allergy! there's a little patio, but we ate inside where the music was a respectful volume and we could hear our names being called by the barista and cook! 10/10 recommend

Both pastries tasted great and the atmosphere was nice as well, I got to sit and enjoy a quick snack, definitely recommend!

This gem was suggested as a "must do" on a recent trip to New Orleans for my donut loving 9 yo. It did not disappoint! The service and atmosphere were great but man the food... best bite during the entire 3 day trip! Hubby and I had the Big Bird Breakfast and little dude inhaled 2 of "the best chocolate donuts ever!"

It's a NO for me. I love this area and love that they have outside seating in the front and the back. The staff was friendly. And that's where it stopped. I'm giving this place an unwarranted star because good decision from the owners for those smart decisions. I ordered an iced coffee with oatmilk, a breakfast taco and a cinnamon roll. First the breakfast taco...if that's what they call it. For me, it was a breakfast taco molded salt lick! Holy moly mother of wow, I think I got my entire years worth of salt in that taco. I even took the chorizo off thinking it was the culprit. I just ate the eggs but wow wow wow...did the dump salt in the eggs too? YES! Annndddd the pico? YES! It was cloyingly awful. I sadly muscle this down because I needed the food, a decision I'm not proud of. Second, the cinnamon roll. Now I admit my standards for good cinnamon rolls are high so I'll start with that and that this wasn't it. They tried with cream cheese icing but nope and the large granules of sugar was just crunchy sugar on top? I still ended up eating half because I was trying to balance out the salt from above. It didn't work. Again, I muscled through this. The coffee was coffee. I could have gotten this anywhere and would have probably had a better brew at l French Truck or even Starbucks? I will not be back to this spot. I would recommend that you miss it as well.

We were just walking by and decided to pop in for what appeared to be some tasty doughnuts. We weren’t disappointed. They were pretty good. The place has sort of an industrial feel to it. The food was pretty good, but not the most amazing doughnuts ever. But, would definitely visit again to try others or have a lunch.

The breakfast biscuit is comes with eggs and cheese, and it is very delicious. The biscuit is a bit crumbly, but I really enjoyed it. Would definitely order again. I also ordered the beignet, which was filled with a toffee or something similar filling. I didn't really like it so I gave it to my friend. I also like that it has plenty of seating. They have booths for customers to sit in and enjoy their dessert Or breakfast. There's only street parking, so be ready to feed the meter!

We returned to this restaurant after discovering it last year. I loved it then and loved it this time. This is a casual place in a fairly small space where you order when you walk in and then go sit down and wait for your order to be called. We got a Kolache, Egg and Cheese Biscuit with Bacon, a Cinnamon Roll, Mochas, along with a selection of donuts to go. The breakfast biscuit is so good - served straight from the grill, it's hot and savory. I normally only like cinnamon rolls with frosting but theirs has a sugar they heat up and caramelize, making a sweet but crunchy top that pairs nicely with the soft dough of the roll. We didn't like the Kolache so much. It seemed stale (hard) and wasn't as good as the biscuit sandwich. The mochas were just ok - nothing outstanding about them. We sat at the counter facing the kitchen area and chatted for a few minutes with one of the cooks. She was really friendly. The woman who took our order was not as personable though. The food here is what brought us back and we will return again when we are in the area.

Last time we went to District was in 2019 and the honey butter hot chicken biscuit one of the best things we ate that year. It seems that they have reduced the quality of the chicken because this year it was one of the most mid things we ate on our annual trip. Soggy breading, so soggy it was falling off, and the chicken was dry and thin. Just bad. Maybe it's the location? Last time we went to the Mid City locale. The glazed donut also tasted stale and the buttermilk drop needed more icing. Maybe I will ask a local if there are better locations than others. The hashbrowns are legit tho, so is the miso bacon.

Have been a District fan since they first opened 10 years ago, we always make a point to stop in for our favorite NOLA breakfast—a miso praline bacon egg and cheese biscuit and a hot chicken and honey butter biscuit—when we’re in town. This time, we got in line before 11a but given a tour arrived just in front of us we didn’t make it to the register until 11:10, at which time we were told breakfast was no longer being sold. The woman in front of us had just ordered breakfast, so we questioned this, but the cashier was impatient and stood by that he would only be serving us lunch. We still enjoyed the chicken sandwich and sopapilla donut we had, but were sad that an exception couldn’t be made.
