A New Orleans must! Great tasting, traditional Creole food. Food comes out HOT and the portions are big! A more simple menu that has just enough options and you can’t go wrong with any dish (although I recommend the red beans and rice, stewed or fried chicken and the praline bread pudding). Very impressed with how friendly the staff was. We will definitely be eating here again next time we are in town!
They were able to seat us immediately without a reservation and we really enjoyed the ambiance, decor and the delicious food. I had a wonderful salmon dish with veggies and a salad. Then, I topped it off with praline bread pudding, a new favorite. Each time I visit NOLA, this is a must dining option.

Fabulous restaurant with such a special civil rights history. The food was wonderful Creole food, the atmosphere was classy yet relaxed, and the service was on point definitely worth a visit.
