Doris Metropolitan New Orleans

Filet was great but the rest was not. Disappointed in appetizer, sides and table location. Should not be a table there. Waiter was nice and good but overall was quite disappointed.

Service and food were both excellent. Our server Caesar was knowledgeable and very helpful and personable. Everyone who worked there was courteous and professional. The Bonaparte dessert was definitely the highlight of the meal! It is the best dessert I've had in a long time! We will come back again and again just for that! It is like a deconstructed Napoleon with flakey light pastry, delicious cream and fruit. Bread service was special also.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner. Great food, awesome drinks, very welcoming staff. Highly recommend, will eat here again.

We sat at the bar and had wonderful service from Micah and the rest of the gang. What a great bone-in ribeye. Nobody does it better than Doris! The fries and the wine selection were wonderful too. I can't wait to go back!

Great food and great service. Our steaks were cooked quite a bit more rare we had requested, but they were still excellent.

Love coming to Doris. Love the dinner menu but also the happy hour. Everything is delicious and perfectly prepared. On this occasion we got the happy hour burger and off menu scallops dish. Scallops sometimes come with a potato puree but this time was a pea puree with spinach and it was just as delicious! Really can't go wrong with anything on the menu

We had a fabulous evening at Doris Metropolitan - New Orleans. The food was plentiful and outstanding, and Adam looked after us so well. This is a great place to go for a magnificent steak and sides, in a beautiful environment with a relaxing vibe.

The flavor of the steak was fantastic. The other two steaks were perfect. Mine was undercooked and we had a hard time catching the eye of our server to get a re-fire. Also initially, we needed lemon and more olive oil with our appetizer, again it took forever to catch the eye of someone and then I resorted to holding up my hand for an employee that was setting a table. She barely acknowledged me, I couldn't tell if she was going to help or not and had a very 'why are you bothering me' attitude. Long blonde curly hair, (glasses?) if management cares. I like my steak Pittsburgh style and was told their stove or flame doesn't get hot enough for that. Again, the flavor was really good but it surprised me that a steak house couldn't do Pittsburgh style, but I didn't miss it actually. The food and drink have quite the mark- up even for the area. I like the space but the music was too loud, and the service was lacking. There were two ancillary helpers - that were clearing and bringing bread that were actually quite lovely. I would promote them to main servers. All in all, I would not revisit despite the tasty steak.

Dinner was amazing! One of the Best Porterhouse Steaks I've had! Our waiter, Joe, went above and beyond!

All of the staff were great! We had the beef carpaccio and tuna as our appetizers and they were delicious. We went with the chefs choice of steaks and they were wonderful! Highly recommend.

Restaurant was suggested by a friends. First time visit and was not disappointed. The food from bread through entree all the was through dessert was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be back.

We have to NewPrleans many times, but the Doris Metropolitan is. Y far the best restaurant that we have eaten at here. Michael the server was outstanding, we both had the rib eye and it was prepared perfectly. The other thing that was truly awesome, they ever rushed us (Ordering, after dinner or even after we got the bill), we will definitely return
