Fabulous place. The barmaid Civa was very helpful helping me choose gluten free vegetarian food. A valuable member of staff. Great atmosphere. We ate in the patio which was very nice with lots of trees and plants to sit amongst. My nachos were very tasty and GLUTEN FREE.

Stopped in for lunch! Great food. Friendly service! Would definitely come here if I was in the area again.
Favorite spot to hang out on the sidewalk at night, screaming and yelling.
Great place to grab a local beer, gator sausage sandwich, and watch the game.
Service was good however, they were shorthanded most of the night.
The food was excellent and large proportions. There were some very loud people in the place (it was pretty empty) and we had to go up to the bar to order but other than that it was great. There were also three puppies that came in there. And no they were not ESA or ADA and there was no patio. Not sure the law in LA but I was surprised they didn’t ask them to go outside.
No service and was never greeted/helped
The best bar food

Great bar — the back area is awesome and never too crowded.
Down the hatch is my favorite local bar hangout in the lower garden district. The venue is right off magazine st. And has a great scene for attracting local and visitors. The awesome secret part is the back patio with full screen tvs and great ambiance. You may even catch my famous jazz musician...alexey marti!

Walked in on a whim because it has the same name as a favorite bar in my hometown. Really nice folks and a great big beer garden out back. Prices were very reasonable and good selection

Treats their employees horribly! Name calling and withholding shifts. Totally unprofessional. Do not recommend.
