This was our first experience with a poboy. I had a catfish poboy and was not disappointed. Amazing. This place is way underrated. Beautiful place, great atmosphere, amazing staff. Loved it.
Ended up being the best place I could’ve accidentally gone to. Can’t recall the bartenders name but he had red hair, talked with us for a bit. Great food, near the end of the night and just perfect. Recommendation came from a tour guide and all of Algiers is a cool place, well worth your time.
5 stars all around, found this place while visiting New Orleans, taking the ferry over from New Algiers. The food was perfect, the Yuenglings were cold and hot the spot. Met old friends I never knew. If I was local this would be a regular stop for me. The bartender was friendly as was the cook. I was made to feel comfortable and like a neighbor!
