I was honestly shocked at how fresh, perfectly cooked and tasty every dish was. I’m telling all my friends, I’ll be back and I consider this the best TexMex or maybe LaMex?, I’ve ever had (Lakeview location, I’ve not yet been to Gretna or French Market).
I ordered the table side guac and the Stuffed Poblano with chicken added on. Mmmmmm, the sauce! So good!
I ate too fast to take pictures.

I ordered guacamole and the lady prepared it right in front of my eyes. An awesome surprise. I ordered soup and it was delicious and hearty.

I’m from central/south Texas so I know good Mexican food and this is NOT it. I ordered the combo fajitas for $34+ (steak & chicken) and got 4 slices of beef and 8 slices of chicken…come on…for that price make it an even amount with both. The rice was horrible, beans were OK, tortillas were cold and hard. Salsa was awful. My hubby got 3 steak tacos (no beans, rice or anything) for $22. Some of the worst Mexican I’ve had, especially for the price. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I’ve always wanted to eat here, however as I’m waiting to pick up an uber order a guy comes from the kitchen with guacamole and sour cream. The spoon from the guacamole hits the floor. He puts the sauces on the service station gets a napkin picks up the spoon, wiped the floor THEN the spoon and places it in the guac on the service station!!!!
Everything we had was great. We got the Stuffed Poblano Pepper, Trio Enchiladas plate and the Macho Man Combo. We will be back

I had beef quesadillas, they were honestly awful, the meat tasted expired and they dripped copious fat. We were not brought water. My partners had mixed grill, and said it was good. They had to request steak knives. The place was very loud and we could not hear each other talk short of screaming, not a relaxing experience.

Two tacos w cilantro and cheese in separate dish was $17 and Margarita in a tea glass with too much ice was $10. Food was good but a little spicy. I'll pass next time.
