What a diamond in the rough! The owner brought out a little setup and made our guacamole dip in front of us while he told us stories of his place and how it started. He was as much of the experience as an authentic Mexican restaurant in the middle of Cajun land. The food was great and came out quickly. If you like Mexican food, this is definitely a stop for you while in New Orleans. We got the taco plates with beef.

The chips were chewy, even after asking for a different bowl. The guacamole was the best thing on the menu. Had the premium pitcher of margaritas and couldn't taste the tequila.

The food and drinks were very, very good! Ate the chicken and shrimp fajitas, chicken tacos, and drank a watermelon margarita. Delicious.

The best Mexican food, in my opinion! Everything was great! Sophia was very nice and attentive. The watermelon Cadillac margaritas and fajitas were delicious!! I would come back for dinner again.

The margaritas are amazing and the food doesn’t disappoint either! We got chicken and steak quesadillas. Both were seasoned very well. The wife got the pineapple cilantro margarita and I got the blood of the devil margarita (warning it’s spicy). We highly recommend giving this place a shot if you are in the area.

The only true Mexican Restaurant in the French Quarters. It is a little of a walk to get to but very worth it. The wait staff and the bar and kitchen staff is great. We got the Machoman Margarita! Be advised this is shareable! The food was excellent also! Salsa was really good as well as the table side guac! We didn't have a bad dish! Take the walk to the French Market area it is worth it!
