Decided to finally give this place a try. The grilled chicken and beef tasted pretty good. The house made tortillas were perfect for me, buy a few extra if available.
There was a weird orange hot sauce I passed on . Beans and rice were not for me , a little on the watery and bland side. I would try this place again though. Fair portions. I

I’m from Los Angeles and know what’s the real deal with bangin’ hole in the wall spots. This place does NOT disappoint. 10/10 experience every time. You know a place is legit when no one speaks a lick of English and they have to pull out the Google translate on their phone. Excellent value for excellent food. I get the mixed meat which is enough to feed a family for $27. The pork ribs are to die for. The chicken is soooo juicy and flavorful. The charro beans ? All the house made sauces. I drive all the way to the East when I get the craving for this type of food and it slaps every single time.

This place was awesome and their food was amazing! We got the pound of carnitas which came with a side of beans and rice and tortillas for 20 dollars plus tax. Their cucumber/lime and pineapple Agua Fresca was delicious and refreshing! The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed and the music which made me feel right at home. I'm so glad we stopped here before we headed out of Louisiana!
