After my first withdrawal I vow to let people know about Murphy Sherry for her good work, with a minimum investment of $500 I made $6000 in a week

Amazing, everything that you expect from a top notch chef. This is an upper class restaurant, everyone was dressed in suits and ties....but they still let me in with my family. I was dresses in shorts and flip flops. I did get some strange looks but hey, I'm used to being the center if attention. I had the rabbit and frog legs. So delicious. The atmosphere and staff were out if this world. Try the cheese tray appetizer. Paired with a good wine. You won't be disappointed.

This restaurant was wonderful until my bestfriend left the restaurant in tears because their were other people in the restaurant making fun of her dress and talking trash to her making her feel uncomfortable on her birthday . I’m sorry but this establishment being as nice as it is should do better and making others feel comfortable. The fact that the staff sat back and watched as a couple pointed and laughed at her till she was in tears and said nothing. This is a quick way to loose business now knowing that I and my friends will not be comfortable their. It’s really sad how some people can be so cruel

We dined here with a native New Orleans friend who recommended this place, and it was fabulous. We met up with our friend in fall of 2019, and she recommended Delmonico. I enjoyed a delicious LA red fish dish, my hubby had steak, and she had a different seafood dish. There was a little wait, so we had some cocktails in their very inviting bar, and before we finished cocktails, our table was ready. The service was perfect - right on time, but not overwhelming. The restaurant is located in a very quaint house on St Charles Street, and it is fun to take the street car to a nearby location. It is a charming location, great for special occasions.

This review is based on my experience during NYE 2019. TLDR; This place was a bit of a disappointment. Maybe bc we came here on NYE 2019 but I still expected better.Let me start off by saying that I didn't come here hungry, I just wanted to celebrate with my family and they wanted to celebrate here. Not my choice. I chose to eat from the lighter part of the menu , instead of the entrees. The location is easy to find and you can find parking off St. Charles pretty easy. They do have valet.Upon entry, you are greeted by a host. If your table isnt ready, you can walk through the foyer to get to a small room with a bar located near the rear. It's pretty much standing room, but there are a couple of seats by the window. There is a piano that takes up much of the room and usually a piano man that takes requests. Makes it enjoyable while you wait. Drinks are good and strong.I really did enjoy the atmosphere. There is seating upstairs, which is where we were seated. This place is an old New Orleans style home, that has been converted to a restaurant , so you will see the structure of the building with a more residential feel. Servers were nice but didn't listen. I don't know if it was bc it was the holiday but I had to ask for things several times. I was also still charged for dishes I didn't eat and asked to exchange for something else in its place (like the Mac and cheese). They serve a delicious complimentary corn bread while you go over the menu.I had ordered crispy pork cheek as a starter. It was delicious! No doubt , best part of my meal. I also ordered crab, shrimp and mirliton bisque. While it appeared creamy and chunky, it was actually more runny and actually lacked solid chunks. It was more watery than I had hoped for.I tried the gumbo. Every spoonful was chunky and filling. However, I found it too bitter for my taste and passed it to my fiancé.Another item, I ordered was the fried green tomatoes. This menu item was cooked well, however it also missed the mark with me. It tasted like it was cooked with seasoned fish fry. I prefer a milder coating of batter to let the accompanying sauce do the talking. The baked macaroni and cheese... There were actually 2 orders of this, bc we had a child with our party. I can tell you that neither I or the child ate the mac n cheese. It was very bland. It tasted as if the pasta was mixed with a flour/water mixture and then baked. I asked the waiter to take it back in exchange for something else but he still charged me for it and it took forever to get another menu item. If you come here with kids, do not order this for them. They will reject it and you probably wont get your money back for it. Overall, my visit here was less than I hoped for. Flavors were off for me. Gumbo was over seasoned and bitter. I did enjoy the atmosphere and I understand that the servers worked NYE (we took care of them $$, so no worries). But this is Emeril's, I had better expectations. My friends did order entrees vs my 'a la carte' choices, and for the most part they seemed to enjoy their meals; esp the WAGYU STEAK. I enjoyed hanging out with my family and the place itself was really nice. So, Im going to give this place a second chance to try an entree. I heard their steaks are really good. I will remember to avoid the gumbo, the bisque, and mac n cheese. When I return to this establishment, I promise to rewrite my review as open and honest as I do all my reviews.

Excellent food and service. We didn't sit at the regular table, but decided to sit at the bar and enjoy their wonderful $.99 chargrilled oysters & half priced cocktails during happy hour to start. Many of the other places that do chargrilled oysters usually grill it so much the oysters are all shriveled up and you barely get to taste them, but not here at Delmonico's. The oysters were perfectly grilled and seasoned. The bartenders also know how to make some great cocktails here. After eating a dozen oysters and some snacks, we ended up splitting the Kansas City strip steak, and it was delicious. It's one of the best steaks I've had in a while - perfectly cooked and seasoned to medium rare. They also bring you a bevy of sauces for the steak, but there's no need. It's perfect as is. Because we sat in the bar area, I thought the service wouldn't be as good as if we had sat at the tables, but I was wrong. The service was very attentive, friendly, and fast even though it was pretty busy. Another one of Emeril's establishment that doesn't disappoint. We'll definitely be back.

Attended a birthday dinner in the private room located on the second floor of the restaurant. The ambiance was very nice and inviting. There was a preselected menu that included an appetizer, entree and dessert for each guest. The service was amazing, our waiter was very attentive and refilled drinks at the half way mark. Each selection was brought out hot and fresh.

Stop #4 of our “Eat our way across New Orleans” vacation. Our dishes were good, comparable to some of the Emeril’s restaurants we’ve been to. Bread pudding, very good. My steak was pricey for the small size I got, but medium rare was perfect. Our waiter was funny & entertaining, when he brought our cherries jubilee dessert. While he was serving it, he recommended another restaurant for cherries jubilee. Can you guess what we did?

It genuinely looks like a very nice place, but our food just wasn't very good. One entree was very salty, the other - extremely salty. To the point where it completely kills the taste of the ingredients and you just want to wash it down with generous amounts of that $50 Chard are move on. There's nothing wrong with some salt, particularly when it comes to seafood, but you need at least something to balance the saltiness, and this was well off balance on both counts. The baked oysters were fine, but they were chopped and baked to the point where almost anything would taste good if you put some creole spice on it. Solid appetizer, but not a culinary highlight.Surely we could've just sent back whatever we didn't like, and ultimately get a very nice meal, but there are certain expectations of consistency that come with higher price tags, and these weren't met this time.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Unfortunately It seemed that they were all preparing for the forced impending closure of the restaurant due to Covid virus. Maitre'd was very nice and friendly as were the staff. Food was of the quality and taste to be expected from a Emirl restaurant. Would go back again(If I could).

Food was excellent. Ambiance was wonderful. The service was not good. When I asked what were the specials, the waiter gave me a crazy look and said look at the front menu. When I asked what the special dessert of the day was, he answered and said, “Cheesecake.” When I asked for the dessert menu, the printed menu said chocolate flan. There were several gnats flying around and we killed three in my napkin. I requested a new one and never received one. My co-worker asked for one and he received it and gave it to me. The waiters were cursing in the hallway. When a co-worker complimented on the background music (classic funk), the waiter said it was horrible and said he (my co-worker) was the only one that liked it. I'm just not used to this level of service at a high-end restaurant.

The experience was a bit disappointing as we had high expectations. I had the shrimp with portabella mushrooms and pasta. The dish was just ok. It was highly seasoned and salted. A little less would have done it. When I asked for desert the waiter said there was only pecan pie or cookies and milk. Before leaving I noticed he was making Bananas Foster for another table. I asked him why he didn't offer that to us. His response was that he liked the pecan pie. Enough said.
