The food came out fairly quick. They were busy. But the taste was mediocre. Got a shrimp po boy and it was okay. Nothing wrong with it. But I can get the same thing anywhere in the US. I also got red beans and rice and it was the same. Fine. Nothing that made it feel like it had a local flair.
This was one of the best hidden gems I have ever found. The bar was nice and small downstairs, with a lot of tables, chairs floor space and a balcony up. The wait staff were always great, freindly and fun. Drink prices you can not beat. The best around. Now, the food... OMG the food... We could not stay away. From the creole nachos to the boudin balls. Mozzarella sticks to the pulled pork burnt ends mac and cheese. So e of the best appetizers anywhere. The main course selection...
