Food was amazing and the service too! The owner Rhonda was very friendly and took the time to talk with us. Highly recommend, will visit again!

Reviews were way better than the place deserved. Ok overall, but definitely not worth going back. Service was slow, drinks were watered down and food was blah

So great - loved the environment and the historical background. Fried pickles and crawfish - AMAZING. Fried okra - Amazing. Fried green tomatoes- underwhelming. Everything else was so good and the service was OUTSTANDING!

We loved this meal! SoCal visitors who enjoyed some local fare-- alligator bites were YUM! Shrimp fettuccine, jambalaya and rice and beans all hit the spot. Service was excellent and helped to make my birthday dinner memorable! Thank you!

Just gooooo! Don't eat prior to coming so you can try a lot of selections on the menu — the rum punch, redfish & pesto pasta, crawfish etoufee, pasta Evangeline, bananas foster bread pudding and praline cheesecake will surely make you want to slap yo mama! (I could not resist!) 😂

Good ambiance but the restaurant was awkwardly, completely empty except for us at lunchtime on Sunday.

Nice, cute little restaurant with wonderful and a great staff. I ordered the fried green tomatoes and a salad. Yummy - I will be back for sure. John jaymion and grace - were sweet, patient and kind.

Had a great meal here. Sat at the bar with no wait. Friend green tomatoes are among the best I’ve had. Crawfish and grits are amazing. Ultimate comfort food dish. Great cocktails. Nothing negative to say, this place exceeded our expectations.

Never eaten here before but we will happily come back! We ordered an outer wide range of foods including the gator bites appetizer and the bananas donate bread pudding dessert and we love it all!

Not a bad little restaurant, I wouldn't call it fancy, but more of a dive bar. We were able to get on without reservations, since it seemed pretty slow. Food was rather tasty, but a little on the small side for what you're paying.

We went here specifically for gluten free food. The owner was there and super friendly. We ordered gluten free fried green tomatoes, shrimp, crayfish, catfish, pickles, and fries. The coating/breading was light and airy.
We were the only ones in the restaurant. It was a little awkward, quiet, and dark.

The food and service here were phenomenal. As I was eating the jambalaya it tasted just like my mom’s cooking, I had to pause and soak it in.

The gluten free fried fish and shrimp was everything I could have asked for. Next time would ask for a side salad in place of the fries. The rest of my non-celiac group were thrilled with their food as well. Inside had great vibe, patio was meh.

A very beautiful restaurant with a very caring owner! We were here from Mother’s Day, and the atmosphere was very perfect along with the food!

First meal of my trip to New Orleans, and no other restaurant afterwards compared. I'm so glad we stumbled across it! It doesn't look like much when you walk by.

I had the crawfish etouffee. Strongly recommend.
