Came in for a matcha and was immediately greeted by mona, she made an excellent matcha. best i’ve had in forever!

Would be Five Stars but they have defective cups. The past couple of visits, I ordered coffee to go, and the lids didn't properly fit, spilling hot coffee all over me and my new car. This has been recurring and I think they should at least give customers a heads up. - disappointed customer with burns and stains

The matcha is the best I've ever had, hands down, anywhere! The owner is amazing and every detail is carefully selected for an amazing drink. The staff is warm and kind and awesome!!! I always have a great experience and it is now part of my daily routine! Thank you Evolve, keep on evolving🥰🥰🥰🥰

My favorite place to get matcha! The drink prices are reasonable (food prices not so much, but it still tastes good)! The açai bowls are delicious. I love the atmosphere and the workers are always very friendly to me from the moment I walk in. It’s always very clean in there. I like their open hours as well, because sometimes I want to read a book in a calm space in the afternoon but other coffee shops are closed. It’s definitely the best coffee shop in Lakeview.

Evolve is my go to for coffee, I usually visit the W Esplenade location since it’s very convenient for me but I was near the Lakeview one so I decided to go here. I have never had problems with the staff nor the service of the W Esplanade location but there is always something going on in this other location with the staff. You usually get ignored or are not even acknowledged when you walk in. I had an app order, I understand it’s busy, I always allow extra time to go and pick up my order but the workers today were just chatting away with some other guys completely dismissing of the other customers. There was a girl in line waiting for them to finish having their conversation to finally get her order taken. When she finally got attended to, they just continued on as if they had no worries about the long line that had formed. From the time ordered to the time I got my drinks I waited for about 25 minutes. I have no problem waiting but when it comes to people who are just dismissive and rude I cannot ignore it. I will continue to go to my regular location and not even bother with this one again.

Unfortunately I can’t give a solid review on the food or drinks. I want to give heads up to whoever read the reviews that when running or operating a business I strongly suggest the “greeter at the register” actually greet instead of being on the phone. This was Friday 6-7-25.
