This place is, in the best way possible, what it is. It is a local bar. It is a dive bar. It does nothing that suggests otherwise.
If you want ambience of a higher sort, look elsewhere. If you want relatively cheap drinks (they need to check their beer lines though), personable bartenders, and a local crowd mixed with one-off tourists, this is your place.
People all get along. They enjoy their drinks. You can talk with everyone or stick to yourself. Your choice. You chose this fun place. So, choose your adventure. That said, it is miles away from the disgusting mess of Bourbon St., which is only minutes away.

Nice irish pub, with a couple of pool tables and dart boards. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the place has a diverse customer base. Friendly barman and quick service. There's not much lighting, but it's still a nice bar to drop in for a few drinks.
