I was in Tremé for four days, and I ate and drank coffee at Fatmas each and every single one of those days. The coffee was amazing. The food was delicious and their pastries were just beautiful. I loved the atmosphere and the outside seating. There’s even a couple of open windows where you can just stand and look out and feel the breeze while you’re waiting for your food. I wish that I lived closer so that I could go there every day.
My husband and I enjoyed this delicious breakfast today. Everything was absolutely fabulous from customer service to homemade biscuit sandwich to clean bathrooms. This will be a must when we come back into town.

The menu looks great, but at this time I settled for a fabulous slice of cherry pie. Charming welcome, and great table service. Nice crowd too. Soft jazz playing. If you're looking for somewhere to eat delicious food and drink wonderful coffee that comes with the best service and complimentary friendly smiles, than this is the place! Everything was superb! It's worth the walk, the drive, the bus ride! This place is a gem. Super cute, old school coffeeshop vibes, good food and coffee in a historic New Orleans house that used to be a legendary neighborhood music club in the heart of Tremé.
