This place has to be a hidden camera joke. It's terrible.
Ask for Mary as your waitress!!! She is absolutely amazing! The oysters, obviously, never disappoint!
Crab dip, service and AC were exactly what we needed. Food would get 5* but they didn't have crab fingers. Will visit again to try the crab fingers.
Sit at the bar! Eat great oysters. Crab claws and shrimp cocktail were great for lunch.
Somebody shut it down please. Entire fam had crappy food that we didn't finish. I had the most disgusting renditions of my two fave foods - brussel sprouts & chargrilled oysters. Floors slippery in some spots, sticky in others. Service was slow & also very crappy, despite being near empty while there was a line at the restaurant across the street. Do not put this place on your list.
Food was not good, service was not great. We were passing through NOLA one night, got into town late. I should have done more research. If you are visiting, skip it! Idk who is leaving these good reviews for here. Go anywhere else.
The gentleman at the host stand was nice.
Great food, good atmosphere, friendly staff
The sandwiches were great, and everyone was super friendly; it was a nice vibe.
Best oysters in the French Quarter! Scallops and filet were very good too! They shuck the oysters in front of you, fresh & cold!
Recommendation and service from Mary were great!!! She kept us full & hydrated! If you haven’t been here in a while definitely come give them a try. Truly a great NOLA experience and hospitality.

Giving one star because oysters were superb. Everything else was mediocre. Had the bayou platter, cold and rice and beans were unsavory with a weird taste, bbq shrimp po boy had no flavor at all and jambalaya pasta was also less than average. Not worth the money or time wasted in standing in line.
Service was slow and probably the reason why food was cold.

Waiting in line to be seated is worth it. First taste of gumbo and I was in heaven. Blackened alligator was perfect for my very first time trying it and the PoBoy was great. EVERYTHING was amazing. Staff was super nice and friendly and the atmosphere of this place felt like coming out from a movie to me. A party happening on the streets, and the bustle of the restaurant felt like a magical experience. While waiting in line some waiters came to us to level up that energy and even danced and sang for us. I can’t wait to come back.

This is by far our favorite restaurant in New Orleans. Food was delicious and the service was wonderful (wish I would have gotten our waitress’s name). Chef came to check on the table as well. Overall best food, service & consistency both times.
