This place is totally cute. It's hidden away in a corner of other businesses on Harrison avenue. I loved the decor. The restaurant has a nice comfy feel to it. The owner was so attentive and friendly. So you order your food and take a seat. They bring the food out to you. I had the Gentilly Philly. It consists of roast beef and Monterey Jack cheese. It also has sautéed mushrooms and onions. It was da bomb. I loved the Béchamel sauce. It was a nice touch. The French fries were also pretty yummy. Very crispy. The service was good. They also have desserts that consist of rolled ice cream, shakes, malts and bread pudding. I will be back to try the other menu items soon!!

Ate here for lunch today and everything was awesome! I got the hot sausage po-boy and my husband got a burger. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. The owner and staff were also so welcoming and personable here. Will definitely be back!

The people were so nice and welcoming. The ice cream I got was amazing and so was the meatloaf po boy. Highly recommend.

My wife and I eat the pig fries almost on a weekly basis. They never disappoint. The staff is always nice and welcoming. Will always return!

I came here twice and enjoyed my experiences here. There is a small parking lot and street parking nearby, so parking has not been a issue for me. Walking into the restaurant, it is well decorated with a fire department theme. You walk up to the counter and place your order and can have a seat anywhere. So far I've had the Jack's Cheese Sticks, Meatloaf Po Boy, Hamburger Steak Special, Fries, Wednesday Special Crystal Fried Chicken, Hershey's Ice Cream and Java Jolt Rolled Ice Cream. The food took a while to come out during my first visit, but was lightning fast for my second visit. The Jack's Cheese Sticks were cheese sticks made in house with monterey jack cheese with homemade marinara sauce. It was different and I enjoyed them. They were piping hot and had a nice batter. The Meatloaf Po Boy was topped off with a Crystal aioli and fried onions that finished the po boy nicely. The Hamburger Steak special was a complete, hearty meal that I would recommend to anyone. The Wednesday Special Crystal Fried Chicken was another complete and hearty meal. I saw pictures of it on yelp and I told myself that I just had to have it! It came with corn, creole mashed potatoes, flattened fried chicken, and was topped off with andouille gravy. The fried chicken was good, but I wish it had some more cajun kick or crystal spice to it. The sides were a bit lukewarm, but overall the dish was pretty good. There a lot of choices for desserts on a white board in the back and on the specials board by the counter. I have had their Hershey's Chocolate Mint Chip and Caramocha scoops of ice cream, which were both delicious! I had the Java Jolt rolled ice cream at my last visit and I enjoyed it, but personally just not as much as normal ice cream. Overall, a good place to grab a hearty meal and try out some unique items. Fireman Mike came out to talk to me both times I came and is super friendly. He checks on customers and makes sure you are well fed. The restaurant is still fairly new, so expect some changes to the menu and food. I recommend getting their daily specials whenever you can. You can find their daily specials on their Instagram or Facebook page!

Food is great, family is very friendly and they have rolled ice cream! The only thing I didn't like is when they clean the table, they use a spray that has a really strong chemical smell and it's a total appetite killer. Aside from that, perfect!
